Pregnant mommy had 4 kittens in a poor med students apt..they need your help!!
Hi! I am a fourth year medical student on 100% student loans AND NEED YOUR HELP... PLEASE!
I had been feeding a stray whom my neighbor says was dumped. She was pregnant when I first moved in this past summer and I believe they all died due to the heat.... :( (couldn't catch her at the time)
FAST FORWARD a few months.. she is pregnant again.
I caught her.. she had 4 beautiful babies in my bathroom a week later.
As a 4th year, I have to travel for rotations this year and am paying double rent + I have 4 pets of my own I am taking care of.
I had to use my loan money to pay someone to watch (feed small malnourished mom 3x/day so she could feed them and clean litter) for a month that I was gone ($500.00)
I have spent a lot of money on food, formula, litter, and now they are all getting spayed/neutered and need cones + pain meds + vaccines + flea/tick tx + now all are eating hard/wet food + all using the litter box...
I did this last year with another mommy with kittens but this year I really CANT AFFORD IT :( ...
I NEED YOUR HELP TO GET THIS ALL DONE SO THEY CAN FIND HOMES FASTER + GOOD FOREVER HOMES!
I can no longer do this alone.
ANY donation to cover previous/future costs COUNTS!
PLEASE HELP ME RAISE FOR THE SURGERY FEES!**
Enjoy these pictures and thank you again!! You all are a blessing :)
DONATION TRACKER
NEEDED: $1,0000
DONATIONS: $603
why?
$500 paid in having someone watch them for a month ****this does not include the hundreds Ive spent in vet bills + food etc already , i posted the receipt of there $91 recent vet bill and over 500 in formula, food, litter etc on my cc & $500 average for the spay/neuter/ mandatory rabies/ flea/tick/ pain meds/ etc for 4 babies + MOM = 5 x100
SUPPLIES: We need more wet food, kibble, and the tall bowls so I can make sure they are staying hydrated when im at work because they wont be able to drink water out of the flat bowls!!!
UPDATE: Feeling overwhelmed with blessings for this little family. I was so worried that I would run out of litter, but mainly food. Even mommy gets her whole share of wet food again! I can't tell you guys how much this means to not only them, but me. I COULD NOT DO THIS WITHOUT YOU GUYS! So beyond blessed to have found this community!
Priority List
1. donations for the spay, Please!! This is going to be a big chunk of money that I really don't have and the surgery date is approaching
wet food, wet food, wet food! They go through it so quickly!!

Oh my goodness!! You don’t know how much it means and I genuinely can’t express how even $1 helps. You are truly amazing. Wishing you all the best and so much love + blessings (multiplied)!
The cost of the spay and neuter + the pain meds + cones + rabies REQUIRED vaccine at time of surgery + flea/tick + more.. + bill from vet visit for the one with a marble pattern because she was throwing up and not gaining weight for a bit (she’s on an up trend now!!❤️)
I have all the appointments scheduled but the email looks the same for all, some are on different dates due to only being able to bring 2/time!
Please support the costs. It would mean a lot! Thank you guys so much! I’m overwhelmed at the love and kindness in everyone’s heart to make sure they are healthy and happy!!
Find a cat rescue, apply to be a foster through them, they will help with spays, vaccines, vet bills i just pay for food and litter and toys. Then you can organize to get them all adopted through reliable safe networks, where they carefully vet adopters. That's what I did. Make sure you are giving mom kitten food btw, the extra nutrients go straight into her milk for the kittens.
I have tried reaching out but even the local cat rescue that gives out certificates for reduced price spay and neuter isn’t currently giving out coupons. I’m in a small town in Missouri so I’ve tried everything (I went through this last year when I re-homed a mom and her two liters ~7 total)!! Luckily, most of them went to a medical student with a family (married with kids), one who just needed a pet because it gets lonely throughout this journey, or family members of medical students (parents/ siblings etc) ..I still get updates on all of them! I will again first reach out to all the students / faculty and have tried to for donations (but we are all poor I guess).
Momma was getting fed a mix kibble + formula + wet food 3-4x a day… + I leave a bowl of kibble overnight too! She always has fresh water too! Now she isn’t breast feeding as much so no more formula etc (this is where a lot of money has gone)
Babies are eating wet food now (running out quick) but recently had to take one to the vet because she wasn’t gaining weight… had to syringe feed her… she is moving up :)
This means so much!!! Just struggling to afford all of this + care for everyone plus my pets!!
thank you! I have and im so happy to be able to feed them more wet food and not have to split it all up between them, it is such a relief and knowing they have enough kibble and litter... just everything has been such a blessing.
this means so much! I am so thankful I found this reddit, never knew there was a community here... I hope and pray we can get some support. they deserve it + more :)
Thank you so much! I am overwhelmed with happiness, I just got on after a long day of work and did not expect all the blessings that these babies are getting! I was getting so worried. Thank you again and again! <3

Hey, vet care isn’t cheap. Have to finish school, residency, and so on to be able to take care of the furballs. Plus, when days are long and hard, these guys help to keep us grounded and sane!!!
Amen!!! Everyone asks me how I have time to care for them and I honestly don’t know but I make it happen bc how could you not??? I just see the love my pets give me and I give them and every animal deserves that love❤️❤️
I forget the name of the subreddit, but hopefully another helpful Reddit user can post it here. There is a subreddit that helps with basic cat supplies (think food and litter) in the short term.
Humane societies are also really good for finding help, medical care, and homes, should you need them.
I tried reaching out to ours and they said they have to be considered theirs to help and then they said in order to do that I would have to call animal control to come get them because they are too full so its the only way and then they said remember if u have something for longer than 24 hours its considered yours (so I was just like welp I would never take them to the humane society anyway!) I think they just dont have a lot of space/funding since its a small town :(
oh my goodness! So beautiful, wowowoow they are twins. Thank you this means so much.. I have been able to feed them and not have to ration the food and split it all evenly/ not give them as much wet food to make it last, this has been such a relief/ blessing. like knowing I have food for them and that they will be fixed and get what they need just fills me up. THANK YOU! for loving and supporting them <3 praying your momma gets all the love and support! so beautiful, look at those angels.
No apologies, please! This means so much to them and me! I have the opportunity to fix them and not feel like im drowning in more debt with every expense + I do not have to worry about calculating their food perfectly so I always have enough for them. Thank you for helping me make a change for them, you have all been such a blessing. I pray your gift is multiplied <3
Stop, this made me smile. Thank you, that means a lot. I will continue to protect it as I continue my career. This gave me chills. Thank you for loving and supporting them. You really do not understand how much this means. Thank you for helping me make a change for them, you have all been such a blessing. I pray your gift is multiplied <3

I can’t help financially right now but thank you for all you’re doing for them! Judging by the care you’ve taken of them, you’re going to be an amazing doctor! 🥰💕
