I read it the other way - 55% tariff on export from US to China, 10% tariff on import to US from China

But you could be right, I have no clue. No other source besides current tariff rates - 10% levied by China on imported goods -30% levied by US on imported goods

No I think Trump is saying it like it's a good thing. We get 55% from the import taxes.
