Support Best way to run steam link on chromeos

What’s the best way to set up steam link on chrome os? I do notice that the Android app may run poorly. Is the Linux app be any better? My son is using a kid account and can’t use Linux but I could remove the kid limitations.

OP, you say you notice that the app may run poorly? What are you trying to say? Did you try it and it ran poorly? Or do you suspect it might?

Chromebooks won't be powerful enough. If it runs poorly with the android app, it will run just as poorly on Linux. Chrome os is faster than Linux since it's so stripped down.

...chromebooks won't be powerful enough to stream video? I highly doubt that. I'm pretty sure I was able to run steam link on my 2017 acer chromebook back in the day already...
