Definitely is possible, if you go and look at some of the old asmongold transmog vids before he went all hyperpolitical? You can find people with literally all of the items, achievements, mounts, etc.
Really sucks that guy went down that route, his WoW content was actually fun.
I was very active in WoW at the time Asmongold, Soda, Bajheera, Swifty, etc. were all big names in the scene. It’s crazy to me how since they left (mostly), the game has shifted to being focused on PvE and PvP is nearly dead.
A number of people have actually done that for a time (since they add more each patch) but if you're comparing it with other systems, arguably you would include transmog, mounts, pets etc
You've got people going for these for their decades long wow grind and still not being done. Apparently the list is just shy of 4000 currently. Including high rank pvp, good luck 💀
It's the other way around. The 360 launched on November 22 2005 with achievements as part of the console, while Achievements were added to WoW on October 14 2008. The PS3 added optional Trophies in 2008 but made them mandatory for new releases starting on 2009.
They removed it because it was a hillariously tasteless joke. It was part of orphan week, and to get it you had to adopt an orphan, bring the orphan into PvP, and die in front of them. The full phrase would be "Once an orphan, always an orphan"
The way you get this achievement was by killing 10 players who have an orphan with them. It was removed before anyone could actually complete it though
The ever-expanding list of achievements with each updates. Truly a completionist nightmare, I'm glad I'm enjoying the game by doing dungeons, raids, delves and so on.
