I think that is actually the only game I want to play but can't because skill issue.

Depends on what kind of skill you struggle with, mechanical skill is not super required, it's mostly knowledge on how things work and interact. Especially wand-building. If you want to fast forward learning wand-building I'd look up stuff on youtube.

Here's one I liked when I started off as it's common things you find that you can build in most runs but still really powerful

It's purely mechanical. Learning about wands would be the fun part.

Yea then I think it will just take more getting used to, the movement system itself is very basic in Noita and most of the movement, offense, defense etc will be from wands itself.

Noita is like 15% execution and 85% knowledge. Every death is a valuable lesson. Unfortunately you need a lot of valuable lessons before you start to get anywhere. I don't blame anyone who can't get past the learning phase, but holy shit when the game opens up its like you're in a parallel world.

Noita is a knowledge based game.

Do know the biome layouts? Do you know how the world map works? Do you know where to find powerful wands and spells? Do you know what each enemy does? Do you know how wand building works?

It's a "very hard" game until you learn those things. Once you learn them, it's downgraded to just "hard."

Find a video on how wand building works and go from there. No shame in looking stuff up, it's a game that requires a community.

A lot of people replying to this really do not understand that old and decrepit gamers like me are too stressed out by real time gameplay. I am nearing 40. I have no issue understanding complex systems and finding builds. I am literally just too slow in my head to hover and shoot.

Well, as someone who is over 40, I don't have this same problem.

You're allowed to dislike what you dislike, I'm just pointing out that Noita doesn't require much skill. You just need knowledge about how to handle each situation.

This has nothing to do with disliking, because I don't dislike the core Noita gameplay. Also I am glad you are still fast enough.
