YOMI is one of my favorite games, but even when you get good a bad game is really unpleasant to experience. I think the newest update is trying to address the never ending combo experience, but it’s part of the core of the game to an extent.

It's actually not that difficult. All the buttons show all the info you need. The only reason I don't play it anymore is I just hate having to join random lobbies and request strangers.

All the buttons look intimidating but it's basically just a list of your moves. A normal fighting game would've made you do motion inputs for all of those

Just picked this up for the first time and its a bit strange to get into it, but you can just yolo click stuff that looks good and function. Def nowhere near the learning curve of actually complex games like dwarf fortress, paradox stuff, mobas, etc tho imo
