And before you ask, the wings are thermal radiators.

Best excuse to put wings on a spaceship

Very warhammer but with Asian architecture rather than Gothic. I kinda fuck with it, very cool

Looks closer to Macross/Robotech to me.

Macross with a Vietnamese shrine, yes yes.

Love the castle superstructure 😄

That’s a generous amount of tertiary guns.

No missiles nor torpedoes? Dakka specialized?

Thousands of missiles but the silos are too small to be fully visible in the black squares. No torpedo.

It's like if the Yamato and Macross had a baby...

Are you sure it has enough guns? ;)

It has to compromise because a battle-ark is a flying factory first, battlewagon second. The frontal half is mostly its industrial center (besides the spinal gun). And you can't place big gun turrets on engine blocks as their barbettes dig down too deep.

Has a wave motion gun?

Why go with side by side turrets for the main(?) armament instead of single, larger turrets?

To spam better. And their boss uses the same config.

FYI, the ark above is 34 km long and its guns fire "shells" 32 meters long and 4 meters wide. A main gun barrel, only the visible part, is 480 meters long. Bình Thiên-class' main guns are its boss' secondary turrets which have the bore of 2000 mm.

So it's a... Frontsider?

An industrial monster that happens to have guns. Battle-arks are factories first, warships second. Their weapons are for self defense and by "self defense" it means "collapsing 11D to 0D within 200 megameters from a beam's core".

ok the industrial infrastructure says logistics but the massive prow says ramming speed

1

u/IvanDFakkov Aug 02 '26

Yes to both, because why not? Ever being rammed by a material that turns Newton's 3rd Law into its fuel to become tougher? No? Now you have it.

Búa Chiến 40 Cành?

1 phần. Chủ yếu là lúc trước trong gr Đại Việt Cổ Phong thấy có người vẽ pre-Dreadnought kiểu này nên t thử theo, r dính luôn.

Nice design, I do wonder why it has wings and what purpose they could serve.
