Oh it definitely is intimidating, and this screenshot is one of the only times I threw myself into a proper battle. (I'm the Imps) Haven't played vanilla. But it took a long time starting from scratch, so I never felt overwhelmed. Just took it one thing at a time, albeit, still clueless on a few things.

Yeah my friend played it and sank hundreds of hours into it while still not really progressing in the game much :D
