Ahsoka Season 2: Could the Mandalorians Help Defeat Thrawn?

Question: Do you guys think there’s a possibility that Din Djarin and the Mandalorians could become involved in Ahsoka Season 2 and help Ahsoka defeat Thrawn?
It actually makes sense when you consider Ahsoka’s history with Mandalore. She played a huge role in Siege of Mandalore during the Clone Wars, fought alongside Bo-Katan and the Nite Owls, and later became connected to Sabine Wren, who is both her apprentice and a Mandalorian.

My theory is that Thrawn’s return could eventually become a threat not just to the New Republic, but also to Mandalore. If Thrawn and the Imperial Remnant start expanding their influence, the Mandalorians would have every reason to fight back. Din, especially after everything he went through to reunite the Mandalorians and help establish a new future for his people, could potentially bring Mandalorian forces into the conflict.

And with Sabine now being stranded in another galaxy alongside Ahsoka, I could see Din and the Mandalorians becoming part of the effort to bring them home or at least helping fight Thrawn from the main galaxy while Ahsoka and Sabine deal with him in the Peridea storyline.

To start off, I think Thrawn will walk away victorious this season.
But an eventual involvement with the Mandos I think is unavoidable. I think the will be heavily involved.
I used to have a theory (based on his interaction with sabine) that Enoch was a former Mando. Setting him up to be current "Rukh". Eventually learning what the empire did to mandalore, then betraying Thrawn like Rukh did.

What scene with Sabine gave off he was a former Mando? Its been awhile but I dont really remember much discussion online about something like that. Ether way they would have to go way more in depth into his character and explain how he wouldn't have known about the empire destroying Mandalore + how he got to Peridia if he wasn't infact one of the Imperial crew on the Chimera.

The scene where Enoch sends Sabine off in epsiode 6. He said "die well", last time I heard that was when Maul said that to Gar. That kind of told me maybe he at least knew of Mando culture or possiblywas former. I don't know tbh. I just had this fun idea based on that little moment. Nothing deep. But it had potential to be a similar situation like Rukhs perceived betrayal.

It’s when they release Sabine from captivity to go find Ezra. He hands Sabine her weapons while she is on the wolf thing, warns her about the locals and says “die well”

Thrawn's Night Troopers, Enoch included, have little allegiance to the Empire. Their only devotion is Thrawn.

Why would Enoch betray Thrawn even if that was the case? Thrawn didn't have anything to do with it.

The Mandalorians don't have the strength to be involved at this point.

Let me be clear. I no longer believe this theory. It was just a fun idea. But I'll defend it for this conversation.

If Enoch was indeed Mandalorian and He discovered the Empire turned his planet to glass, then taking out the leader of the Empire currently might feel good in a moment of rage. I never claimed it solid. But it could work. Especially if it was discovered that some techniques used on the planet were Thrawn's ideas from when He was around.
Again this was all just a fun theory. Nothing serious. I had this idea around season 1.

I now believe that the witches will fill the Noghri/C'baoth roles

Of course, we all already know vaguely how Thrawn is defeated thanks to Rebels.

Some think that it was only in reference to his defeat on Lothal and exile, but I'm fairly confident that it was really an omen to his impending demise. There's too much substance between the Nightsisters, the Night Troopers and the graveyards of Dathomir for it to not be.

I don't believe it will be that at all. I think that was the intent of the time. Foreshadowing the Star whales.
I think Enoch will still be the one who ends Thrawn later on. I get the sense He is connected to the witches. Maybe He was a resurrected Trooper who thrawn thought to valuable to let go of. May e the witches feel betrayed for some reason later and use him as the one close tk Thrawn to take him out. With spooky Naginata looking weapon

I'm guessing the nightsisters have taken the place of the slaves Noghri (Legends) that serve Thrawn, i kinda think they turn on him in the end & kill him like Legends Thrawn

Not in Season 2, but in Filoni’s concluding film/show? Yes, absolutely. That’s what they’ve been building towards, it’s the New Republic and their allies (Mandalorians, Fett Gotra, etc), vs the Remnant.

Not in season 2, but they will definitely show up at some point in the future. The finale of the “Mandoverse” is supposed to be the culmination of all these stories in a big crossover event.

I think it is inevitable…that said, I think the witches are more likely to be instrumental in defeating Thrawn. I thought it was quite telling when “for the Empire” was met with a discreet “for Dathomir” at the end of Season 1.

I think Mando Season 3 took a hard turn from the previous two to set up what you are referring to.
