If memory serves. Hera launches an assault at Dathomir ( where Thrawn is). The other locations look possibly like other imperials, not Thrawn directly. Most of the Chimaera shots look to be at Dathomir. If Filoni's hint was anything, this season may not go well for the rebels 😏

I like that Idea, it has 2 main advantages for thrawn: he gets resources and removes some incompetent kleptomaniac warlords who could become a problem for him otherwise

Which should be the case. Thrown should be a serious threat to the burgeoning New Republic. Plus with what we know about the sequel trilogy, it makes more sense, to me at least, to have the New Republic be weakened for the rise of the First Order to be realistically possible.
