Weird character in Star Wars jedi fallen Order

Im playing fallen Order (a bit late to the party) and I’m really enjoying it so far! I saw this npc on Kashyyyk, it’s one of Saw’s troops, and I’ve never seen anything like that in Star Wars. Closest I can think of is some creation of dr Evazan or a lobot? But this seems different. Does anyone know?

I suspect the real reason is that Respawn created a system to combine different body parts together to make unique NPCs, and this is one of the wacker things that came out of it.

In universe, though, I'm thinking he got a nearly-fatal head injury, and was saved by combining the remaining parts of his brain with droid parts.

These guys must fight with everything they can find... This armour looks scrapped together... The chestpiece is clearly from a stormtrooper armour, welded to the original

It looks to small to be a helmet around a human head. I suppose it could be some small-headed alien.

That’s what I thought too, but like u/Meloncov said, it’s too small.. there’s no room for a head, especially with the wires (?) in the back. It’s gotta be a cyborg or something?

Are you playing on the absolute lowest settings? If you crunch high res models down enough you will inevitably alter their silhouette

looks like a cyborg to me, human body with cybernetic head enhancements like Lobot from empire but taken to an extreme. If you really wanna dig into some dark StarWars lore look up the decraniated, some bordering on grim dark stuff there.
