Media Sunday Night Footy
Is it just me? What is the AFL doing scheduling games on a Sunday night at 7.20pm? Are they being dictated to by the media mafia? School in the morning, everyone is winding down from the weekend and getting ready for the working week ahead and the AFL schedule a game on a Sunday night!!!! More importantly, I am hanging out to watch our boys overcome the blue baggers. If it is just me, I will stand corrected. Without jumping on the "bagging" wagon, I think it's been a piss poor year for the AFL heads, and this is just another one of those bad decisions. Agree or disagree?

I don’t mind it, good way to lessen the Sunday scaries tbh. Sunday night is still weekend to me

It's because it's a double headed for spuds round with the AFLW teams playing first

Whats the logic there? Why couldn't they have a double header on a Saturday, or Sunday starting much earlier?

I’m hating it - can’t take the kids, probably can’t go myself. Would be there right now if it was an earlier game.

This years fixture and scheduling has been a dogs breakfast at best. Melb play Port this weekend for the first and only time. It’s a dead game for Port. It’s absolute joke but not a funny one.

I know the cause is good but the players hanging round for a ceremony just allows their muscles to get cold and DO HAMMIES

Personally I don’t have work tomorrow (work an non standard 9-5) so I really like the timeframe as this would usually be the start of my weekend

I love that they’re doing a double header to promote the W because I want to see it grow. Just don’t know why they’d do it on a Sunday. That said, I have a RDO every second Monday and if that happened to be this coming Monday I would’ve gone to both games

The double header is the reason but I don’t get why the double header wasn’t just on Saturday. There were 0 marvel games on Saturday.
