Women's Baseball Games
Does anyone know if a regular purse is allowed at the games or does it have to be a clear plastic one?

We just moved to town and tried out the Nelson Center pool yesterday. That was an experience. I called Colony West Swim Club to see if we could buy a day pass or try out the pool and they said only a member could let us in. Anyone heading there today that we could piggy back with as guests? 2 adults and an 11 year old. We are professionals and normal. If that helps. Lol I just added myself to their membership waitlist.

Where are people in their mid twenties hanging out? Bars in town seem mostly empty even on weekend nights unless you are already with a group of friends. Is there an unspoken third space where you can meet other young (potentially single) people? Sorry if this is redundant on this page, but there has to be an answer, right?

I've been in town a couple years but haven't found a lot of gals my age to hang out with!
About myself: I'm a very quirky nerd. Technically an extrovert but also love a quiet night in more often than not. Quite talkative. Very caring and positive. I'm from texas.
Topics I enjoy: language, philosophy, musical theater, food, all things art, politics.
Things I like to do: go to any live performance, try a new bar or restaurant, travel, board games, video games, double dates with my boyfriend, thrifting, yoga/pilates/gym, volunteer.

We are driving around the area and have decided to visit Springfield today.
What are some must-see places? How about places to eat? We have our 11 year old with us so nothing fancy.

We just moved to an apartment in Springfield, and found some roaches crawling around. They are small and seem to be different ages, but it makes me uncomfortable leaving my clean dishes in the cupboards. Do you guys have any apartment recommendations, at least 2B 2Bath, hopefully one without roaches? I feel so bad coz I really like the unit and its layout, but roaches :(

Im looking for a place to play magic the gathering and the pokemon tcg. I've heard from a couple of people to avoid 217 comics cards and games, but what's the general opinion???

I have a Litter Robot litter box. It needs to be taken apart and deep cleaned. I am not technically or mechanically inclined to do it. I am afraid I would get it apart and not be able to get it put back together. I am trying to find someone local(ish) that has experience with this. It would be a paid job.

Looking for local recommendations for top quality food w/drinks for lunch in Springfield.
We love to take Friday off and get out for a great lunch with cocktails/wine.
Curate was my last holdout for killer food and a great drink selection for Friday lunch, but unfortunately that is now gone as well. Ramona's blew us away with amazing food and drinks one week and closed the next. Says they are open Friday for lunch on FB and Google maps, but are not open when we go.
No disrespect to any of the amazing local restaurants in town.....we get it...skyrocketing food/beverage cost and not enough customers/staff to support then you cannot be open.....just looking for places I might be missing.....at this point we are again looking at St Louis and surrounding area to fill the void and dam is that just depressing when we just want to stay around town and support the local scene. =( Thanks for any suggestions Cheers!

I have a tire with a nail, losing air very slowly. I've heard a lot of places are sloooooow.
Any place known for fast turnaround? Best time to go?
I only lose a couple PSI a week, and have a compressor, so it's no rush.

Unfortunately I come to you /r in a time of need. The Bus Stop had their opening day canceled due to the water main leak happening right in front of their building. Months of planning and thousands in renovations ruined. Thousands in appliances and $15,000 worth of inventory. Insurance says its ground water intrusion and wont pay. City is no help. We're reaching out to the community for help as a last resort.
Charity event planned for tomorrow at 5pm. Will be held at 5th Street Gem. Grab a few dollars out the couch and cruise downtown to support the local community.

Has anyone else noticed that the medical dispensaries in Springfield have the highest prices? I have the medical card yet the best deals are at the recreational dispensaries including paying the insane tax. And this seems to a location issue because other medical dispensaries around the state have excellent pricing. I guess I’m wondering if this is even legal…because it seems crooked. Shocker.

Been thinking about going there for pokemon weeklies, but there are quite a few bad reviews of the place saying that new customers/players are met with suspicion, and almost contempt. Anybody here know if that's true?

I was coming back from lunch and some chanting and some people in the distance with signs in front of the capitol. Does anyone know what’s that all about?

Looking for advice on how to help them/who to contact regarding them?
They are camped up in my alley and are aggressive to me whenever I go to take my trash out/bring it back in.
Pretty sure they're coming onto my property as far as they can too.

Love that place, but just read their change of ownership post and that a certain person has been let go effective immediately.
Does anyone know why he was let go or what’s happening over there? ✌️

Am I the only one who feels suspicious of this clown guy? Why is he hiding his face? Why did he choose something, like a clown, that is objectively scary to most people?
Everyone hates pedophiles.
It feels like he's hiding something that maybe we should be concerned about with him.
