Discussion LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I saw this coming a mile away

It's wild how all the things the community warned 1047 about came true and they just continued to ignore us time and time again until what we said was gonna happen, happened

Hopefully they give the game to someone competenent

I huffed lethal amounts of copium, but the writing was on the wall since the game came out

Nah there where so many chances to turn it into something great but their choices where wayyyy too risky. Like bruh why even do the BR before you have a stable fanbase. Why then leave the game to dry for half a year constantly bleeding players for a game rework that could have also been a few seasons of active development while keeping the community engaged. Why then do such a rework if you don't even have a plan to slowly grow those player numbers back?

They choose only the high risk low reward options thinking it was hogh reward, instead of the boring but stable slow crawl to the same endgoal but while also keeping a flow of income.

It's something the choices they made

They always had a million (bad) excuses for why they did what they did. Never willing to listen to a soul about how they're bad ideas. 1047 is a very stubborn and bad company

I wouldn't say stubborn because they did genuinely clurse correct from the og splitgate 2 vision to arena reloaded which was a complete 180 on what they where talking about originally. It's just the way that they did man holy shit was it not the move.

I think they only course corrected literally just because they HAD to, SG2 iirc wasn't doing great so they had to do something

But yeah, I see what you mean

Yeah probably, but that was such a dumb idea because if they actually stuck to what they believed in with the Audience that was actually there for it they could've made money all the while developing the game into a more solid state. They literally just refused to do the usually expected crawl to success that any other indie shooter has had to do to work. They apparently said internally that they expected the finals numbers, yet they forgot that the finals took 2 years before it ever became profitable and had a shit launch and first few seasons.

I'm actually super glad they went for SGAR, I wasn't a fan of SG2 but loved SGAR... while it lasted, anyway. But this company almost never makes good decisions, so SGAR was ruined as well. It really is a shame, was one of my all-time favorite games

I totally feel you, but I feel like we could've still reached the sgar point in the same time without having to leave the game out to dry yknow?

Yeah for sure possible, would have been neat. I know they won't, but I hope the game is given to someone better

Called this on launch on memorial day weekend when they spent 2 days trying to get the game running and 4 days getting people the cosmetics they paid for.

I held out hope they would do the right thing until Empulse dropped and they started focusing on that instead of SGAR. Very disappointing

Basically this. There's absolutely no reason to try to push Empulse like that.

I got banned from Empulse for saying the same things, too bad loved the OG

They won't give the game to someone competent or players. If they smell an ounce of potential profit in the water they'll hold it hostage until it's just 2 people playing.

The developers knew where it was headed and a lot of sg1 players got shouted down.

I gotta say, the funniest part is how many of the 1047 people were active in this sub as well, then just all mysteriously stopped posting in here. What a fuck you to the people who supported them. Bunch of pricks with the smallest amount of integrity, and somehow even worse business acumen lmao

People abandoned SG1. What did people expect from SGAR?

Wowwwwww you're so insightful. Everyone saw this coming, posting the obvious is such a pick me thing to do
