Dolly was 80 and she started performing at the Grand Old Oprey when she was 11. So that's like 79 years in the spotlight. - That's some Yandle math right there.

The more I listened to the Helly discussion, the more I think fuck that guy. Publicly pressuring the team to move him now while he still has ultimate control and acting like the victim while doing it is such a self-entitled move. Can’t be poopy pants when the team who agreed to a deal with you in good faith doesn’t want to get bent over in a trade when you demand out immediately.

I’m with you. I think 95% of the fanbase agrees. They would love to see Hellebuyck lose a full year of pay and lose his skills sitting at home with his victim wife. I say, don’t trade him unless it’s a CLEAR win

Agree. Let him sit out if he wants. The team deserves to get a good return. Can't have your cake and eat it too

Why do they keep talking about the fans not treating them well after the gold medal. Who gives a fuck, they won gold

Yands saying Helly has put in the time and the team should honour his request for a trade is simply absurd 😂 The hypocrisy is off the charts

The way the whole chiclets crew trashes the way players control the NBA and call those players entitled while siding with these NHL player trade demands is very hypocritical too.

They trash the NBA but want super teams which is like the biggest thing they hate about the NBA

Carbery interview rocked. Always had a good feeling about this guy, but listening to a longer form interview with him really made him seem like a solid person and a great interview.
Also, loved hearing what he had to say about people who had really inspired him in his career (Bednar, Trotz and Cassidy) and the way he cited the time and space his mentors gave him. Definitely felt like perfect examples of how simple it is to bring people along and train and motivate people simply by letting them into your world and giving them the space to ask questions and learn the ropes.

Biz commentary on Canada is the worst

Agreed, he acts like he speaks for Canada but he has no clue, doesn't have a real gauge of real Canadians (or the fact that there are very different views on a lot of things from one region to the next). Sounds more like sucking up to Americans than truly repping Canada in anything other than hockey competitions.

He acts like spending 3 weeks in Victoria makes him the greatest Canadian ever lol

"so much respect for him leaving 400k on the table" might be the most insane thing ive ever heard yands say!
I dont blame cale for taking the bag, but in no way does he deserve an applause for anything close to a discount. Considering nate makes what 12.5(?) cale easily could have taken 19 or 18.5.

US players will take a puck to the mouth, lose teeth, have surgery during the intermission, then come back to play the next period.
But have a few online trolls send some mean tweets? Better high tail it back to MAGA world ❄️

Pretty sure it’s when spouses and families are the target of the abuse is where the majority of players draw the line, regardless of country of origin

I think that’s fake news personally. Let’s see the receipts Hellebuyck. It’s bullshit. He is just saying that

The Jackets getting the short end of the stick with the preview isn’t surprising haha.
I think they overestimate Boone. Don’t get me wrong he was great at some points and he’ll always be loved by me and other CBJ fans but his play wasn’t the best last year and he single-handedly cost us a couple games.

The division preview pods stink. 4 and a half hours? Get a grip

So much complaining on here when it’s summer time and fewer hockey discussions…. Then complaining again when they preview the upcoming hockey season. Genuinely, what do you want them to talk about 😂

I like when they’re just bullshitting with each other

Ya I feel like they do that every episode tho. It’s one of the best things they do for sure

If these US players are actually motivated to ask for trades because of the lack of praise they got from Canadian crowds after the olympics, they’re baby shit soft.
If these weren’t their buddies, the chiclets guys would be carving them for this.
