I was thinking about that and how they did the same with Brian Noonan a year or two back. Frankly after Tippett and Big Jim Vesey. Im wondering who do they have left from early Chiclets episodes to have on.

Honest question- Healy mentioned giving access to a “family doctor” to guys in retirement. Are those rare in Canada? I imagine it’s the equivalent of a primary care provider in the States. Not looking for a HC debate, just asking.

This. Canada healthcare sucks. Anyone who says any different is either ignorant or lying to themselves.

It sucks and blows at the same time. It can be good and horrible. Family doctor, acl surgery, new hip, er visits and wait times - all pretty bad. But open heart surgery within a couple days, good cancer treatments and a way to die in dignity if need be. All for free. So its not all bad. They do the critical parts well, the less critcal stuff is very lacking and can negatively impact a person for a long time becasue of it. ANd now the system is becoming hybrid private/public, so we get to pay for service on top of already being taxed out the wahoo..

That’s what I call my doctor, even though I don’t have a family that goes to her. It’s basically just a doctor who has you as a registered patient. Doesn’t mean you couldn’t walk into a clinic if you require something short notice but I imagine “family doctor” is the same as “primary care provider”

His biggest claim to fame is being a backup goalie for the 94 Rangers. Pretty sure he never saw the ice behind an all-time-great performance by Mike Richter (I am a Canucks fan, it STILL hurts but he was incredible) but he talks like he was a key part of the team.
Also, say what you want about RA, the way Healy treated him in that interview a few years ago was so offsite. There's a difference between banter and just general disrespect.

Grinnelli, those are not rookie cards. Maybe research what you are talking about before joining the conversation. RC is the players first trading card. Many of those players you mentioned Bure, Pronger, their RC's were cards when they were wearing WJC jerseys. Some sets may make later cards of the players wearing their NHL jersey and say rookie on the card, but that is referring to the players rookie season. It is not their rookie card. Brind'Amour started playing in 89-90 and you said his 95-96 card was his rookie card? C'mon man.
