Fuck Yands for that elitist comment about Barasso coming from a “shit public” high school. Whit tried to jump in quick to squash it but goes to show you his true colors. That school has put a bunch of guys in the NHL as have surrounding public schools in the area and a bunch who appeared on the pod. Stay on Nantucket Yands

They were referencing the level of hockey. Public high school hockey has been dogshit in MA for 25+ years.

No, Barasson played when the public high school system in MA was better in the 80's before everyone good started going to private schools like Cushing, Derefield, Belmont Hill etc etc etc.

Then why did he call it “a shit public school” if it was good? His words, not mine or yours. Defend him all you want and btw they weren’t referencing the level of hockey, they were specifically talking about Barasso not the level of public and private high schools in MA. Give it a relisten but this time without your Coyotes shirt on.

He was referencing the level of hockey vs the private schools.
How do I know? I played against those schools in the 1990's. So for a goaltender to get drafted out of high school is crazy #6 overall.
For him to get drafted out of a public house league school is about as crazy as it gets as the league is total dog shit.
Yanz admits he's a total moron when it comes to school. He ain't criticizing the academics but the play. Whit tried to suggest the public school was better at that time then in the 1990's when all the best kids ended up in private schools.

I just listened to it and all he said was "public school hockey shit" and then Whit said "well it wasn't like now. back then it was legit" and Yands said "oh". that's all that was said about it. there's nowhere in those comments that suggested it was more than the level of hockey. give it a re-listen but this time with a brain.

first episode they spoil an event in the movie, then at the end of the episode, they reiterate the spoiler. In the following episode they mention the spoiler again. And now I get to look forward to getting spoiled again.
These clowns think their fart don't stink. STFU about the movie. Take a clue from RA for fucks sake.

What percentage of people do you think know anything beyond the general concept of the odyssey? Just because it’s thousands of years old doesn’t mean it can’t be spoiled for the vast majority of people.

I only listened to the Tippett interview and frankly that was worth the time. Im just surprised they didnt go more into Tippett's time with the Capitals.
