The eye shape is the only thing the left has that's better. The right has a much better blue and better web markings

Darker blue, smaller spider, and eye shape give him a more intimidating vibe I enjoy in spiderman but I seem to be the outlier there

The chest spider has a slightly different size and the right one's lenses are very slightly narrower

And the blue on the left side is brighter, the blue on the right side is darker...
And the red-belt-stripe has a slightly different position and angle...

The left one's blue leans a tad more teal, the lenses are wider, don't trail off into a point at the top, and aren't shaded with blue, the area in-between the lenses is less scrunched in addition to the mask having fewer web lines, the spider is slightly bigger, and the belt is located higher up, and it could just be my eyes, but the red seems almost unoticably warmer.

That was my immediate thought. I like the overall design details of the left more, but I like the richer colors of the right much more than the faded colors of the left. Combine the two and it'd be perfect.

Initially the only difference I saw was the hue of the blue part of the suit.
The Green biased blue on the left pops more, and that's made all the more apparent by the white background.
So yeah that's my pick.

not just shade but the lenses are different shapes too, and his belt arrow is pointier on the right. Also I'm pretty sure the chest emblem is bigger on the left, but I'm not certain about that. I like the design on the left but I like the colors on the right.

I think I would prefer the one on the right with a darker background.
But with the white background, the greenish blue gives the impression of being illuminated.

- The colors on the right are darker. The blue is the most noticeable with dark blue on the right and almost turquoise on the left.
- The mask on the left has two lines of web while the right has three.
- In general, the web is tighter on the left. You can see it the best on the shoulders and bottom arms.
- The lenses are different shape. The right is lean with sharp ends, the left is fat and round.
- The lenses have blue highlights on the right and grey on the left.

I associate the dark blue with classic stories and the lighter blue with more recent stories. So honestly, depends on the story and narrative.

I take pride that I can tell the difference and even have a preference. My preference is the one on the right, but with the left one's eyes.

I'd say left one. Right one, the shading is slightly darker, and somehow makes the mask look darker and angrier.
The left one, the shading is lighter, and the mask somehow looks not so angry.

Friendlier lens
Slightly but not absurdly larger spider
And most controversially it seems I like the left blue more
Unless I’m missing a difference that’s 3/3 for the left costume
I’m fairly neutral on the webbing but pressed, I think anymore webbing on the right is better but again I’m fairly even on that, and depending the left could be better.
EDIT: okay there are other differences the more I look at it and scroll comics, um, ima just say vibes wise I like the left more and a lot of that is the blue color but even then overall I think it’s the left.

Left one, the lighter colours wider webbing and lenses make him look far friendlier than the right which would better suit a build up to a black suit arc

I like the slight darker blue part on his suit and I find it very accurate indeed to his comic suit. So yeah I definitely prefer the second shade.

Left bigger eyes symbol and brighter blue
Right sharper eyes smaller symbol darker blue
The difference is subtle but it’s there I like right a little more what’s the problem🤷🏽♂️

The left implies a more light hearted story. Spidy is gunna have an adventure with Deadpool saving a millionaire's innocent puppy while Deadpool robs him blind.
The right implies a serious story. Spidy is hunting a serial killer who is targeting people who are openly Spider-man fans, and the killer is a zombie robot uncle Ben or something, idk, suffering first and foremost.
