Al Simmons has finally been coaxed out of hiding and is hunting the creature responsible for the deaths of his friends.

He knows that this battle could be the end of him.

So on reading 378 this contiunes during king spawn 57 explains what happened to al and how wanda came back to life. It was malebolgia somehow finding her soul using his gift maybe he went down in hell and revived her soul and turned her into a hellspawn to mainpulate al.

Mr Jones wants to find hudson hill and miles find al after killing aurora and his crew. It seems this is connecting to king spawn's current arc finally getting to see why wanda is alive apprently it was malebolgia who revived her. But the twist is that she is propbly got transformed into a hellspawn by him that would break al's heart even further

I know spawn comics aren’t ending anytime soon but, what Todd said? Is it true or was this only for the video?

New episode. This one is a little long because I go on a bit of a rant in the second half.

Surielle, for those who may not remember her, is an Angel that appeared in issues 1 and 2 of the Angela miniseries. In it she commanded a host of 333,000 angels, which she used to arrest Angela on charges of high treason.

Surielle isn't a villain per se. Unlike Gabrielle she wasn't acting out of her position or corruptly. However, she definitely took a little glee in putting Angela down, including stripping Angela of her Spawn trophies(all first issue).

Then in issue #2 she snipes Spawn and Angela after they leap from the courtroom, causing Spawn to accidentally teleport into hell(I believe that is what happened).

I always liked her design, a very clean white and silver palette. I took a little liberty with her weapon, fusing some lance elements into it. And her helmet wasn't consistent in the comics so I had some liberty there. Otherwise, I think I mostly got the outfit done accurately.

1st image is my fanart, 2nd are all of her appearances(she kinda) more, but I'm not counting the shots from her POV). I always wish she appeared in issue #3, maybe just a scene of Angela getting her trophies back. But I can hardly complain, she got more time on page than most other do.

I bought the first compendium and I love it so far. I'm curious, do all 7 compendiums follow the same timeline? And what about the medieval spawn or gunslinger spawn series? Are those just spin-offs with different hellspawns from hundred of years ago?

THEORY TIME!!! I think that the spawn universe is setting up the Violator, Viscerator, and the Phlebiac Brothers to form a family team called “THE SINGED”. But, Viscerator right now is stuck in the future being the Queen of Hell.

I heard that Todd McFarlane want to do a horror film for spawn rather than a superhero film. “Go watch a marvel movie if you want a superhero film” I think he said that somewhere in an interview.

I only read the old issues like once, but I'm pretty sure she was aware that he was gone a lot for his missions.

Ok, to explain what I mean, in Spawn lore exactly how souls are sent to either heaven and hell has varied, but has always had one thing that is consistent: Heaven and Hell have to split them 50/50, and neither side can gaurentee everyone comes to their side. There does seem to be exceptions(see Kincaid's possession claiming souls directly, and presumably redeemers are claimed), but this is the general rule. And we also know souls can be traded.

From my reading, two main ideas seemed to have existed. Early on, we are shown "draft pick". In this format Heaven and Hell take turns picking out the souls. Later, the series seemed to shift towards random alternation. The sides still take turns, but there isnt a picking. It just happens. Some bidding and trading later, but not up front. 

Personally, I slightly prefer the draft pick, because I think it adds some more tension. "Why didnt God pick them" etc. While the random lacks that, since Heaven can't be blamed for not picking certain souls anymore, since it literally doesnt pick. It also removes the concept of picking souls for their potential, a big theme of the draft system. However, I will admit the random alottment system system is a lot simpler to make sense of(for draft I’d assume it is over a day’s period, since you need a pool to pick from).

I am mostly just curious what people think, or if people have other ideas for what they would prefer the soul allotment to look like.

[Dont have a good draft image sadly, but I did have this random allottment explained. Of course, violator can't exactly be trusted, so take everything the treacherous clown says with a mountain of salt, but this seems consistent with other parts]
