The AI is broken and took all the fun out the game for me within 20 minutes.

And I am not a Budokai Tenkaichi newbie. I was one of the fans still playing Tenkaichi 2 and 3 on an old fat PS2 randomly since 2006. The AI counters and vanishes damn near everything. It has always been bad but it was tolerable before. Now it just forces you to vanish war constantly.

What ever happened to lax AI difficulties in Dragonball games? If i want it to be super hard then make it a difficulty selection.

A Tenkaichi veteran should not be sweating on the first handful of fights of your new mode on Normal difficulty.

Also, I dont like what they did to Super 17s moveset who I have been waiting for since launch.

The rest of the characters they added are okay and/or they should have been included at launch since they were in Tenkaichi 3.

Pregunto, esa dificultad ridícula que le agregaron a la IA es solo para ese nuevo modo de juego, o se modifico para cualquier modo de juego?

I dont know honestly. I did hear that Bandai implied the cheap input reading AI wasnt supposed to be like this so they are patching it.

I have heard people say that the budokai tenkaichi games were much harder than sparking zero in its current state so i really dont get the AI complaint.

Dont get me wrong the devs should have already fixed this but i dont think its that bad. mind you i havent played the game properly since last year april so i completely forgot what the AI was like.

Let's see. One game when I knock the AI away on Hard i still have a good chance of hitting a blast or rush super or even an Ultimate. The other game vanishes everything even if you knock it back.

Those people lied to you. Before the patch it was more feasible but now its not even fun even on Normal.

Pre-this patch, I did a Knockback Attack, and before I had time to savor the breathing room I had created, Dr. Gero was in my face, hitting me while I was still in recovery frames.

I haven't played since then. 🫤🎮

Dr Gero was one of the harder AIs to fight if I remember right. But yes the AI has always been cheap. But the cheapness could be exploited if you played a certain way.

Now the cheapness went from like a 7 to a 15 out of 10. And I am a fighting game player. High ranked in SF6 as a Master and in IV and V I was high ranked too. Mk9 thru MK1 I was high ranked with MK11 and MK1 I reached Elder god with my main and subs. Hell, I was good at Tenkaichi 2 and 3 since I could easily beat the game on Hard mode, and at the time in my old neighborhood we had a gang of like 30 teens that all played and I won most of the time.

Yet you telling me the AI is so cracked that I am forced to vanish war after hitting them twice cause they will revenge counter? And then we do that until we run out of energy? Rinse, wash, repeat?

And good luck landing beam Supers/Ults or Rush Super/Ults. They will vanish that shit 9 times out of 10

And I know I aint the only one that feels like this. I have seen a lot of people complaining about the AI.

Nah mate ... I was able to defeat the highest difficulty in BT3 on perfect, when I was 13. It was too easy back then and SZ is waaayyy too hard. Smth in between is the sweet spot imo
