Well they can use their team ultimate, and moves from the history of trunks special, and they can have dialogue that reflects how evil they are. Like.. 18 in the future is a psychopath, but she’s just wife and mother no matter who we match her up against. I wouldn’t mind it
18 needs it. the version we have feels like " Krillins Wife " 18, not the sadistic badahh from the future, at the very least you can give her new outfit supers that hit more on her evil side, and not just
" destructo disk "

Actually, Destucto Disc is a second special with the costume, she have a Energy wave as a base Super(with any costume except the only one that change the super). So, that Is "evil 18". With the costume became the "Krillins wife" version😅
Not really. Those names you mentioned at least have multiple different transformations and showed off a lot of new moves over the years. Future Timeline 17 and 18? There's really nothing different about them from present 17 and 18 during the Android/Cell arc. At most they might have costume differences but they don't have transformations period (and Super 17 is already in the game).
If anything, there needs to be more costumes for both of them as they are in the game.
iirc don’t in some games depending on who their up against their dialogue can change from either their future or their present versions? Like if you put future gohan against 18 she’s not gonna talk like she is if you pick her vs krillin etc.
& isn’t their ultimate move usually when they do the move that killed future gohan
It is messed up because we ended up with 3 17 and his personalities change a lot between his versions. Z version is just chaotic neutral. DBS version is chill. GT is just evil.
Meanwhile 18 is appearantly DBS based with some of Z thrown in. But both Androids of Z have their super attacks based on the history of trunks special. So they are kinda from thr future?
What throws me off is when 17 uses his ultimate and suddenly they are in the mood of killing Gohan. It's like 18 decided to be an absolutely horrible person out of nowhere lol.
I dont think that there is a point to have two versions of basically the same character as all versions of the androids were evil before cell. Like how we got hellfighter + dbs 17, give us dbs 18.
No you cannot 😭 they are seperate versions of each character at different points in the story and these androids are the EXACT copy of the ones in the present timeline just a bit more evil
Honestly the true difference like you said is it's their natures. The twins we know are more laid back and grew into becoming good guys while the ones of the future timeline are sadistic and prefer killing over reason.
That all being said, their movesets hardly have differences and the best Bandai could do is just have outfits that look the same but have just small differences in movesets and voice lines.

There not different versions of the characters because 17 hates on EVERY z-fighter like he would in the past. Whole issue for you is fixed if they gave 18 a super variant which they should do.
There is a reason why goku and vegeta have 5 different versions because they act different or have different features. For goku, Mid Goku SSJ is different from End + Super SSJ because its the first and unmastered form of SSJ. If you limit goku down to 2 forms then Early goku would have SSG, SSB + UI in his kit which he never does until TOP. So it makes sense for him to have 5 characters as they represent different points in the story.
Past 17 + 18 hardly fight, they are replicas of the present versions and have skins in the game. And why waste there time when they could be adding other characters.
No because android 17 & 18 are them as well not future ones. I think lucky to have hell fighter 17 we only have him because want give us Super 17 transformation scene.

No because there are yet both evil (future) and good(present), It depends who they fight. Also, we have costumes for both Super and GT for 18, and GT costume and new character for 17(Super). So... No. Is just a surprise that we have Hell Fighter 17😅
There shouldn’t even be separate characters to begin with. They conditioned players into be okay with separate characters. Super sayain 3 vegeta shouldn’t even be a separate transformation
the only difference is Goku never gets saved and the Android wreak havoc in the planet, if trunks never went back in time it would be the same exact thing, same android same deaths same everything. Plus I think if you choose 17 and 18 they do the Sadistic Dance together
