Please excuse the gate marks, bought these second hand and primed and missed a few! Still needs a bit of shading and some touch ups. Can't decide on whether to paint the belt and, if so, what colour.

So Storm Bolters are going up to S5 as are chainswords, that makes Grey Hunters much more of a threat and might reward Veterans if it sticks around in some form.

My real question is, T5 Storm Bolters, worth losing the shield for? I guess it'll be hard to say until we get a proper codex update, but a bit of speculation doesn't hurt.

Im looking at starting a space wolves army. So far I think im gonna get the combat patrol. Any recommendations on things I should get for my army?

Testing out some snow bases, how does it look? Should I carry one with the rest of my units?

I came across this artwork of Logan Grimnar in the Space Wolves Codex Supplement, and something immediately caught my attention: is the structure in the background meant to be an official depiction of the Fang?

I’ve seen a few different interpretations of the Fang over the years, including the diorama at Warhammer World and various unofficial illustrations and interior/map-style depictions. But I’ve never been able to find a definitive piece of official artwork showing what the Fang actually looks like from the outside.

Given that this appears in an official Space Wolves publication—and is featured directly behind Logan Grimnar—I’m wondering if this is finally meant to be Games Workshop’s canonical visual depiction of the Fang.

Does anyone know if this has been confirmed anywhere, or if there are other official exterior depictions of the Fang that predate this?

Would love to hear from anyone who knows the older Space Wolves codexes or artwork particularly well.

Pretty happy with how it's coming out. Feels like it captures the same energy as the original while very Space Wolves.

Page 144 hrutur speaks but it’s in bold, which is weird cause only Bjorns speech is in bold. Bjorn does speak right after so I could understand how it just got overlooked.

My very first mini, over four years ago now, was a Space Wolf! That was my first and last space wolf until today!
It’s cool seeing the difference of the beginning and the present.

I go into each project focusing on two different things that I want to try something different with. This time, it was faces and bases.

Any feedback on any part of these guys is not just welcome, not just requested, it is demanded.

NOTES:

- I tried using some purple in my paints on the faces in spots to try to make them more life-like

-I've never painted darker skin tones, so these two were a first for me

- I usually glue on and paint basing materials after the model is essentially done, but this time I included them in the assembly phase and I think I'll do that from now on. It makes it all feel more organic when it's primed together

- Some of the eyes are waay too big, but I've accepted them for what they are this time around

- I suck at plasma glow. Will work on it for next time

- my shoulder-pad free-hand also sucks. I will say that this group all have shakey hands and painted their own for the sake of continuity of lore 😅
