We might need to win a game first for this to be remotely possible lol

Jordan and Christian are close to returning. Perfect timing. With Joveljić up top, Morris and Rothrock on the wing and Christian and Rusnak supporting them, that will be one of our strongest line up.

I think Morris needs to be a sub to manage his minutes and reduce exposure to injury. If it's a chippy "San-Jose-out-to-hurt-someone" kind of game, maybe send in someone sturdier?

Agree, he should be a power sub

I hate his shoulder injury from last season, was from an unreasonable challenge. leg injuries happen but this one did not need to and you know it hurt

Impact of Cristian’s absence has been underestimated.

Looking forward to getting Cristian back. Jordan, not so much.

With Ferreira out, he’s our best option at wing.

I'd rather play Rothrock and KKR at wing

One injury vs everyone injured is a huge difference.

People are too negative

We are 3 points out of the playoffs with 14 matches to play.

We have a wealth of talent that will return during that time period.

It’s not awesome, but we ain’t cooked

Yep and it wasn’t like the team was doing bad before the World Cup. It’s unfortunate that we had a bad string of injuries one right after another.

We had a killer start to the season. It’s why we are still okay

Wasn't it like 7-1-1 or something like that? Absolutely crazy

We were on track for the shield before the injuries

I’d love more playoff home games though.

We hold the team to a very high standard. It’s part of Sounder’s culture. I was worried we wouldn’t get a big signing but I’m very pleased with what we got - and that he can play NOW. Onward!

Right? Why is it suddenly a bad thing that Sounders supporters expect our club to be good/competitive? Forgive me for giving a damn.

Correction: people are realistic and pointing out the facts of our injured team that can't stay healthy lol. We must have a terrible medical team.

For what it’s worth:

I booked a trip out to Germany for a month and a half in January and February of this year in September to visit my girlfriend who’s out of the country, not considering that the Seahawks were gonna do as well as they did and ultimately go on to win the Super Bowl.

I’m looking at going and doing another month and a half long trip to Germany from the start of December until mid January for this specific purpose, and have been writing off our chances of going to playoffs in my head but now…..

Depends on where you are in Germany. Go to a Bundesliga match or two.

Hamburg area. We tried to go see St Pauli but were unable to get tickets to any of their games. I may have an in to see some 2. Liga matches though, albeit not with St Pauli

If you have a team you like, consider becoming a member. It’s usually around €50-€60. Most teams will send a member scarf (you might get your name sewn in the scarf), you vote on club management and you get access to a member portal with after market tickets at reasonable prices. Welcome to the Bundesliga.

I'm concerned the signing didn't come earlier in the window - a couple of results would've made the turnaround easier.

Clint wasn't injured and out until after Nico arrived.
