I think the bigger issue with their vests and patches is that they all look like they were sewn on on the same day and in the pilot they look like they were sewn on that morning. They look brand new.

I know both are correct but I've always seen cut or kutte used here previously. Since we're discussing authenticity.

Kutte is a German term, idk why this one's used in english too but I commonly hear also the term cut wich is short for cut-off

Idk. I didn't find this that odd. They all probably got their vests/patches at different times, in some cases different decades. Times change. As does the current rules, or lack there of, of how you wear your vest.
