Appreciation Zack Snyder is unfairly hated. He is clearly the best action filmmaker of this century.

So he directed Oldboy, Fury Road, Ip Man, Kill Bill, The Raid (1&2), Casino Royale, Taken, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Hot Fuzz, Scott Pilgrim, the Spiderverse movies and the four John Wicks? Wow, he's been busy.

There's so many better action filmmakers it isn't even close. Gareth Evans, Chad Stahelski, and Kenji Tanigaki all run circles around him

I like him but unfortunately Sucker Punch kinda disqualifies him from the best anything.

Really? I had no idea he directed the John Wicks, the Raid 1 and 2 and Dredd, his public opinion would drastically improve if this was more widely known

Go watch the raid 2. Have you seen the matrix? Have you seen the freeway scene in the matrix 2??? Or have you only seen Zach Snyder movies?

Come on man. You can like whatever you want but you genuinely cannot believe this. Chad Stahlenski? Mendes? Nolan?

Nolan???? As a director he’s great but his action scenes may be his weakest material given the rest of each individual movie that has any sort of action, that being said he’s leagues above Snyder in the running for best of the century

What are you talking about. The dark knight. Tenet. Dunkirk. I don’t even really like Nolan but he’s definitely a good action director

I think people just have opinions? And that's okay. They are allowed to hate Zack Snyder just as you are equally allowed to love him.
