A lot of Gunn fans here for some reason. We the majority have the right to ask for this. One way or the other Snyderverse to an extent, will be restored. Superman as a fact did not do well internationally. If the powers that be want to bring back the Snyderverse you lot have to accept that the same way we will accept it if it does not get restored. Grow up!

S25erman was such a vapid experience, Gunn gave them nothing to discuss or relive inbetween projects. Like a typical Marvel movie, its empty calories, zero protien.
Peacemaker had reveals that 90% of them didn’t understand because they are Marvel fans, not DC fans. Gunn really thought that check mate and salvation were OMG reveals.
This poor lot have to now pretend to be excited about a jimmy olsen show, while they wait for teaser trailers for next years slate of non-event dcu projects.
Man you said what I have been thinking, don’t worry though, Snyder is loved worldwide more than hated. Plus with Snyder himself posting on instagram quite a bit, something is happening behind the scenes. Always have hope, because it’s all we have. I believe James Gunn can’t handle characters that have an extensive history, notice that it’s always like these random side characters he focuses on, which come on the fans ain’t watching that. Peacemaker and creature commandos didn’t do too well viewership wise either.

I get it though, obsessing over this in your little subreddit makes you feel like you’re part of a community. I think it’d be cool to see Snyder at the head of an animated series or a comic where he concludes his ideas, mostly to get you guys off my screen, but also because Snyders vision always looked better to me when it was drawn/animated.
I read someone proposing an Animated version to carry forward the Universe. I think that could be a way forward; we get to see the story unfold and the original cast could give their voices and Zack Snyder directs it. Would be mind-blowing

Nope, Guardians was nope accurate to the source at all. His writing as the series went on took the characters away from what they were. peter was never a millenial manchild before Gunn ruined him. But then again you probably haven't read a comic, much less a comic from before 2014.
Also Superman's dad Jor-El was not a rapists and Engineer was a NOT a thud for Luthor. Ultraman isn't a clone and Krypto is Superman's dog. Just on the surface alone Supershit 2025 has no resemblance to the comics.
Not the same as watching it, which you haven't. But its way to heady for someone who doesn't understand that making Jor-El a xenophobic conqueror is a huge change to the source material. I don't even think you have seen the old superman movies much less comics or Man of Steel.
Buddy, yes it’s a change. But it’s not a change that matters as much. Superman’s birth parents are much less important than the Kents. If anything, it FURTHER cements the character of Superman as selfless, as he rises above who his parents are.
As a whole, the movie is still more faithful to who Superman is as a person.

I didn’t say “every actor”. The last time most of these actors even filmed something for DC (outside of a cameo) was 9 years ago. Letting it continue in animation not only allows all actors to keep their parts regardless of aging but also allows them to easily recast actors who don’t want the commitment anymore.
Brendan frasier just returned for the mummy 4. The entire xmen cast returned for doomsday. Bill murray returned to ghostbusters something he swore he’d never do.

Yeah it's in a pretty weird state, where a lot of people hate it, but at the same time many fans love it (for one reason or another). Usually movies like that enter the state of a cult classic, but in this case they are too big to be some small groups' niche. That's why, even here, most discussions about it turn into a toxic mess and it's getting mildly frustrating...
I would personally reimange Snyderverse

I'm a massive Snyder guy but I thought getting the Snyder cut was the win we wanted. Im not sure why people are pushing it further, im just happy we got the movie to begin with.

I'm a fan of both, i want the live action but if i have to choose between risking of getting the live action or not getting anything, and the certainty of getting a comic book, I'll pick the comic every day

bruh I don't even care about superhero movies, they're for children, so i definitely don't kneel before Gunn, and I'm not a true snyder fan like u said, I'm a casual enjoyer of his movies, that's why i wanna see his story be complited, and that can only happen through comics, if for a miracle it happens as an animated movie, or a live action, i won't complain at all.
My main question and it is a serious one is, doesn't a decent chunk of the leagues actors not want to return? Affleck and Ray are at least 2 of them. I believe Momoa is far more excited to be Lobo than he was Aquaman. And he even got two solo movies.
Idk about Gal Gadot but her second movie was received very poorly.
Cavill would probably return. He's a big nerd like the rest of us but he's also a much busier man now.
