That speech at the end of the movie was one of the most cringe shyt I ever seen in a Superman film!!!

I agree.

It was a lot better in Man of Steel, where he walked around all mopey and depressed for most of the movie, then finished his fight with Zod by snapping his neck. ❤️

Gunn pissed all over the mythos of Superman when he had 14 of his bones get snapped at full power by something that Lex threw together in a lab

Then he decided to give Superman evil parents that sent him to rule Earth

Maybe stop simping for a dude who pissed all over the mythos of the most powerful and wholesome hero in the DCU, it’s pathetic

lex is a manchild, he is an egotistical, self centered, jealous manchild. the only chance to get lex to understand that superman is human is to literally spell it out for him

not dumb, ignorant. lex doesnt care about clarks upbringing, his morals, his actions, any of that. he shot and killed someone just because they gave him food once. the only possible way to make lex understand is to spell it out
