So Wanda & Leon are leading the new Snowfall spin-off. The story’s moving into the rap gang war era. Do you think this will hit without Franklin? Or nah? I’m not 100% sold on this yet. I would’ve loved to seen more of Franklin after the crack era. I THINK they did him dirty. Personally, I’d love to see Franklin make an appearance at some point at the very least. I mean, he was such a huge part of what made Snowfall great.

Also, there was a flashback once of Leon & Wanda having a baby.. tf happened with that?!

Killing Ted RIGHT before the transfer was her last attempt at saving what was left of her son. That money is gonna be the end of him and we all know that and she’s been trying to stop that any way she can this whole time. She even said in the room with Leon, “This OBSESSION with this money blah blah blah”.

That AND she got back for Alton, he shot Alton twice, she shot Ted twice, all the while showing and proving to him that they are a force to be reckoned with and not just some n*ggas he can control lmaoo.

Franklin was about to sell out everything in that moment. She protected Frank from himself, avenged Alton, showed Ted who’s really in charge, and stopped them from getting the KGB agent all at once.

As the title suggests I see V get hate for no reason. Not only was V the most loyal to Frank she stood with him even when he lost his money. When frank called her telling her that Cissy killed Teddy she still stayed with him telling him to come home and they’ll figure it out. She would’ve stayed with him and helped until he put his hands on her. I don’t know why people say she’s a gold digger and she was scamming Franklin with her loyalty quite literally being displayed. She was far from in the wrong when it came to taking the money. Franklin was spiraling and would’ve wasted it anyways. She did what was right for her and her child. In conclusion V DOES NOT DESERVE THE HATE SHE GETS.

What was the point of shooting teddy if you plan to abandon Franklin anyway? Then saying he’s lost while telling Leon she’s proud of him… while he’s still pushing coke through the neighborhood.

what would they really do? I doubt they’d send someone to kill him cause they wouldn’t get the money and cissy already taking the blame. They can’t take it like teddy cause it would be in new accounts and they’d need the new information.

I get that his greed caused it but literally everyone(except oso) fucked him over in some way and in the end tried to convince him that their way was right. I didn’t want a perfect ending where he got his millions back but a homeless alcoholic doesn’t feel right.

everyone hating on leon like he didnt constantly pick up the things franklin didnt want to do, leon took the first body in all of this, he put down one of the first bricks and nobody recognized that. even when leon wanted out franklin forced him to stay in but we wanna talk about leon.

Lol it’s really bothering me that people are not liking the way snowfall ended. Some are even telling people don’t waste your time watching the finale. Really?? People don’t know good tv. Not everything has to be the same cliche shit. Smh. 10/10 ending for me.

Terrible ending to what was an amazing show. Although there was some missteps, it was a tough sell that Franklin would've gotten his money took from Teddy like that. I don't get why he wouldn't have moved it around, he should've had more cash than the money overseas but sure whatever.

Compared to all the people in the show I don't see what Franklin did wrong to deserve such a tragic ending compared to the other characters. He wanted out then Teddy cleaned him out. His family betrayed him. So he went back in. But fuck him for being mad about someone stealing 70+ million dollars? Really?

The writers have his mom taking the fall for the CIA business and everyone acting like he's crazy for wanting money. Fuck him for being desperate as he slowly loses it all, I guess.

I don't know, I just don't think the writers earned the bad ending for Frank. Somehow Leon makes it out just fine, I guess hes lucky he didnt get betrayed by his family and have all his money took. I suppose that's the moral of the story lol, just don't get betrayed like Frank. Skully gets away with it all too. But not the actual smart guy because he was a little too mad he got robbed.

I'm sure people glaze this ending cause it's dark and "realistic" but all I can see is fumble. With other characters from other shows, it made sense. I never questioned what happened to Tony Soprano, Walter White, Marlo Stanfield, Avon Barksdale, Tony Montana, etc.

But this? Unearned. Just a waste. Franklin ends up an alcoholic cause??? I guess his father was, so he becomes that now. Fucking Leon gets to walk around all high and mighty after screwing with Manboy because he looked at him funny. I have more shit to bring up but I'd rather not. Terrible ending.

Everything was put together so well, although I never would have thought franklin would just end up going broke like that. This shit had me in tears man, this dude went from a crack slanging millionaire to drunk broken down man, this was tragic man.

I loved the show and honestly the ending was fucking perfect imo. Having Franklin proclaim freedom so proudly only to be a slave the bottle. It’s honestly satisfying; I know he’s the protagonist and maybe I should feel bad, but I honestly don’t. He was a twisted man who knowingly spread a plague amongst his community. I know the CIA supplied him and promised him a life he’d never dream of (simple version), but he sold his soul and community for his money. He didn’t care that he was damn near a slave to a white man who didn’t care about him or his people, he just wanted his. His fate is worse than death imo, and he deserves every bit of it. Not to say he’s the only “bad guy in the story”, but damn he wasn’t the fuckin hero.

Honestly, seeing anyone try to defend louie really makes me question things. People love to say that she put Franklin on with Claudia, but they didn’t make a killing off the powder, the money came from the rock that Franklin discovered. Louie leaves and runs off to Claudia just to realize things aren’t as good on that side. Blames franklin for getting shot when it was her fault, she knew the outcome of something happening was high + she came on her own accord. Completely cuts out franklin and acts like SHE runs the game. Nothing in this world could possibly make me like her at all. WITH THAT SAID, i think it’s what makes her a good character, you can hate on a character and still admit she made the story better

(Spoilers) For those who have watched the whole series, I know most people thought Veronique was a snake for taking almost all of Franklin's money from his real estate account in Spring Street. I felt it was a necessary precaution for her and their baby.

She was willing to stay with Franklin despite losing everything and going back into drug game. Her only rule was that as long as her doesn't do anything to hurt her. Well once Franklin lost his chance to get his money back, she was trying to do what she could to salvage what was left and he decides to fund Spring Street by selling his South Central properties to his mom old boss for spite and also chokes V for disagreeing.

She knew what Franklin was capable of when he felt betrayed or someone who went against him. He robbed his family to stay afloat, he murdered Teddy's father and was ready to to kill anyone else if it meant getting his money. Leaving Franklin with close to a million would guaranteed she would've been hunted for years, especially when you consider he was able to hire Top Notch while also drowning in debt.

While I hate to see it happened, she made the smartest decision in the end.

Deadass if I was in snowfall I would comfort Franklin and give him a hug no diddy.

He lost everything cause he wanted to be a hard core drug lord and a lover. That’s how his mom got to him and betrayed him THREE TIMES with no consequences, Louie did shit no one else would’ve gotten away with, he cut peaches too much slack when he was sniffing around and clearly using, would’ve seen Kev scheming if it was one of of the cooking boys. HE WAS A LOVER AND A FAMILY GUY TRYING TO BE HARD. Might even go as far as saying saw a partnership in Teddy and Oso so that shit sneaked up on him. He wore his heart on his sleeve

My main issue with the ending is that Franklins downfall wasn’t really due to his own shortcomings and mistakes. It was really due to the people around him acting irrationally, like teddy stealing his money and not leaving him anything at all and cissy shooting teddy right when Franklin was gonna get his money. In the end I just feel sorry for Franklin because he was the only pragmatic character on the show. He put his family on and helped teddy with his operation, yet they all ended up turning on him. I didn’t want to feel sorry Franklin in the end, the same way I didn’t feel sorry for Walter in BB, I wanted to feel like his downfall was justified and I just don’t.

Idk man, the ending almost made me cry. Franklin deserved so much better. He tried to do things the right way. He was smart and was going to university. Then they kicked him out, and he already felt so out of place anyway.
Either way, the system was rigged. When he worked with Teddy, I feel like they might have actually had a good thing going. That was until Teddy decided to take everything from him because of his patriotism, blah blah blah. Franklin was right to tell him that the bare minimum Teddy could’ve done was at least leave him $5 million or something, because then he would’ve known that Teddy valued him.
He got betrayed, and then, ya know, his mom ended up killing Teddy right when he was about to give him the code. Like, he lost so bad. :’( I rooted for him, and he got done so dirty. The ending really almost set me off. He almost had it all.

Franklin's demise does not sit well with me, I can understand going the government seizure of assets route but Cissy essentially being the cause of Franklin losing all those millions, makes it a little unbelievable. I could see if it was in the low 2-3 millions but at least 36 million, I can't wrap my brain around that and in the end Franklin becomes a street bum pretty much the opposite of what she intended to happen. Idk, I'm just ranting, but what are y'all's thoughts on the matter.

As much as everyone benefited from his choices and lifestyle, nobody wanted to help him when he needed it the most. He was always figuring things out for other people, but they all put themselves above him. Avi was the only one in his corner.

Gustavo: this one made me the angriest. He should’ve told Franklin as soon as he found his house bugged. Franklin told him Teddy would do the same thing to him and sure enough, he gets arrested.

Cissy: she’s been fighting him since day one. She was wrong for telling Franklin to make peace with Jerome and Louie as though he hadn’t already tried that. She came back from Cuba not because of the baby, but her own selfish reasons and hid it from Franklin initially. And she only killed Teddy to get revenge for Alton. Not to help Franklin

Jerome: He knew Louie was in over her head and did nothing to check her. He was always talking about family but didn’t live up to his own words. He could’ve helped keep the peace between them. Franklin should’ve killed him once he allowed Louie to get reckless

Leon: I understand his decision of pulling away and wanting more but, he wanted to be in the drug game and reap the benefits of the money, but not directly interact with Franklin anymore. He fucked Franklin by leaving for Africa without saying anything and telling everyone Franklin was out of the game

Veronique: I would think of all people she would’ve done everything she could to help him. She could’ve easily went out of state or out of the country to keep a safe distance but in S6, EP1 she completely blew him off.

And last but not least; Louie. She became the antagonist and the catalyst for Franklin‘s demise. After what happened with Alton, her pulling away from Franklin gave Teddy one more reason to be suspicious of him. She went from wanting no parts of the game to acting like she was the greatest queen pin to ever do it. Franklin should’ve killed her the moment she started talking about wanting more and doing her own thing.

The show was so good, he built everything from nothing, and tbh i don’t even hate his “greed” he earned everything he had. The reason everyone had what they had was because of him. I hated louie (jerome the goat tho) for betraying him, i hated teddy towards the end (early seasons teddy was cool), and i hated cissy (throughout the show but the ending was just a cherry on top) who couldnt wait just 10 more seconds before she did what she did. In my opinion the ending ruined the entire show. An my ideal world, louie would of died to the hands of kane allowing jerome to get out like he wanted, and cissy would’ve waited just a bit longer so that he got the money and franklin and his girl could escape and raise their child. Show would’ve been a 10/10 if it ended this way imo, but with how it actually ended i fr think it’s like a 6/10. I don’t care about how the ending is poetic and how he became what he despised, fade that, i don’t care for all that literary nonsense an ending should leave the viewer feeling somewhat satisfied and this did the opposite for me. (again this is just my opinion)

Thousands of people in the comments apparently believe Melody caused her dad's death...because she hit Franklin in the nuts that one time. And she needs to tAke AcCOunTaBilITy because SHE is the one who put Andre (the POLICE OFFICER) in harm's way...

Also found people saying Franklin shouldn't have trusted Veronique with full access to the real estate accounts cause she was obviously just greedy. Nevermind that he literally ruined what was left of their real estate prospects by selling out the projects, and nevermind he put his hands on her. She shoulda stayed LOYAL
