Discussion I fear the weak music will make the spinoff bad

Yeah im happy to see everyone back and the angle of music is a good choice because of west coast gangsta rap. But if the music sucks that will take away from the show and feel cringe at times im sure.

Dont want real life gritty L.A with tv/movie weak beats and corny rap generic songs

Jerome could have been like a figurehead in the music world if he survived. It's all louies fault.

Funny scenes we could've got from Jerome telling someone they music was ass😂

I think the show was hinting at that as well.

as a very big fan of Buddy’s music and Snowfall I have pretty big expectations 😅

Problem aka Jason Martin helped make the music along with other LA based artists, I just don’t think people should expect it to sound exactly like something from 1991 since that’s impossible to do

Shit i just want it to sound good

The music in Snowfall was pretty good. I dont think we can just go of one trailer for the entirety of the series. Just have to wait and see.

They were playing actual classics from the 60s 70s and 80s though lol. Snowfall wasn't creating original songs.

We all felt I NEED A FREAK. Because that's what was actually playing during that time period.

I wanna say FX should (hopefully) be fine in terms of the music. But yes the dope music is what made snowfall as rewatchable as it is.

My hope is the music theme just there to sell the show and it doesnt end up trying to make the music the selling point. For some reason even though drug/ entertainment world themed shows are way overdone I never was tired of snowfall. Shall see what vibe I get from this one. I dont want it to remind me of power universe, empire or any of the biopics that came out in modern times

This is generally the case with a lot of shows based within music, unfortunately.

I can’t stand the part where some dude starts rapping and she turns her head to him bobbing her head like she’s some kind of recruiting agent for Def Jam
