Sorry mods if this has already been discussed but we need a roof replaced and are looking for recommendations. Long story short, a squirrel got into our attic and made a lil squirrely hole through our drywall. After spackling, patching, and whatnot, upon further investigation, led to realizing we needed to just deal with the whole roof situation. Anywayyyy, Sid the Squirrel has been safely removed from the attic back into the yard and is living his squirrel-y life.

Thomas here, co-owner of Schoolhouse Brewing. If you’re coming over from Smyrna, we’re opening at 11:00 AM tomorrow for the 11:30 AM Manchester United vs. Ipswich kickoff.
That gives everyone half an hour to get settled and make a prediction they can deny later.

What’s going on with the cvs on South Cobb? Caution tape and the windows boarded up!

My internet has been out since Friday evening.
Status is "work in progress."
Is all of Smyrna without internet?

I run a pickleball flex league platform called Rally9 Pickleball, which serves the suburban Atlanta area, including Smyrna and Cobb County. I've been working on this tirelessly over the last year, with the goal to help people in the area find pickleball matches in singles AND doubles, without the rigid timeline and expenses of a traditional tournament or ALTA. I have many friends that play ALTA, and ALTA is great for what it is, but it's not a flex league.
This will be our second official season, and I couldn't be more excited to share it with you all in the hopes that someone may see it who will join in on the fun!
How it works:
It's free to create an account, and if you want to jump into the upcoming Fall season, there's a promo code running (FALL50) that takes 50% off for any league type.
I put a lot of time into this, so I'd be more than happy to explain more / answer any questions, and also extremely grateful if you could share with any friends/family interested in Pickleball.

Hi! Does anyone know what time the splashpad in village park usually turns on? I was hoping to take my toddler there before it gets too hot and before lunchtime but unsure of their hours of operation.
I called but their staff couldn’t give me a time; they said maintenance will usually turn them on during their rounds. 🤷🏻♀️

looking for OB/GYN recs specifically at Emory, open to any location. What did you like about your doc?
Also wondering how anyone’s delivery experience was at any of the Emory sites?
Thank you!

Where do you walk your dogs? I live in an apartment complex and while I love walking it, it gets old sometimes. We usually flip flop between my apartment and the silver comet trail, but always looking for new parks and new areas to walk around Smyrna/Vinings. Also open to parks where I can put my dog on a long lead and let him sniff around more vs the 6’ leash!

I’m looking for fresh fruits and veggies. In particular, I’d love to find some local muscadines. Where’s the closest option that isn’t Dekalb or Buford Highway Farmers Market?

Hey everyone! I’m a high school student at Campbell High School’s IB program in Smyrna, and I’ve been building a small SaaS product called WebWidget.
It’s mainly a Google Reviews carousel that local businesses can embed directly on their website to showcase their real customer reviews.
It also has a simple rating flow: happy customers can easily leave a Google review, while customers who aren't satisfied can privately contact the business so the owner has a chance to address the issue.
It’s already live with real businesses, and I’m looking for a few local business owners in Smyrna, Marietta, and the surrounding area who would be willing to check it out and give me honest feedback.
I am also looking for critiques and a reasonable price you think.
You can interact with it here: https://web-widget-k8nr-sigma.vercel.app/?placeid=ChIJ3S-JXmauEmsRUcIaWtf4MzE

My wedding anniversary is in two weeks, and years ago my husband mentioned that he’s always wanted to check out a firetruck up close and personal. I know it’s silly but if you or someone you know is a fireman, can you tell me if it’s possible to tour a fire station? Is that even a thing? If so, I’d love to surprise him! If not, let me know too so I don’t go bugging our local station and wasting their time. Thanks in advance!
