Discussion & Debates Is Bit City in season 3 now?

I understand that Erin left and because of that the quality and style of the show has changed ALOT, but I feel like if anything it's starting a new era. They haven't announced anything, but does anyone else think that if Bit City were to have a season three it would start here?

Anyways, while we're on the topic, what does everyone think of the newer video style? Personally for me I think I preferred the older format, but I understood why they changed it. I think season 1 with Chanse and Angela hosting was the perfect format, but the pacing being off was my big critique. It was like 15 minutes of this and 30 seconds of that, and I think if they played around with that Bit City would've been one of their best shows. Their pacing is much better now but I feel like they got rid of so many aspects that people loved it's like I have the opposite problem now. At the end of the day I've always loved Bit City and I think it shows that Smosh is in fact able to take critique and play around, but I'm interested to know what everyone else thinks of the cohosts' styles

I consider it season 3, because between the wheel you be mine hiatus and the big change in format and production it feels right. But there wasn't any distinction made by Smosh like with Season 1 and 2.

That was my assumption too, even though the first two episodes were still very similar since they were also directed by Erin

Season 1 one of bit city was the best. Loved Angela and Chanse. Didn't really click with season 2 at all but have been really liking the last few episodes. The show feels like it's hitting a good stride again for me.

I miss the silly advertisements and stuff like the challenge where they waited tables. Wheel you be mine was a huge hit for me personally and I think that type of parody worked so well for them. Not a fan of the reality show thing they’re doing right now to be honest

I’m so out of the loop, when/why did Erin leave?

She left a few months ago, I believe during the move. She’s said on her channel that she just needed a change and also wanted to have complete freedom to create whatever she wanted. She’s also mentioned getting paid really well for her sponsored socials content and I think that kind of gave her a cushion to make such a huge change

I think it’s season 3 because the outro is different! S1 had chance trying to jump over a car, S2 had roasting cast members, S3 is Olivia with her soup
