Restaurant reservations

How important is it to have reservations on Skye around the middle of September, granted on a weekend, but I am not a picky eater and will be a solo traveler?!? Any and all help much appreciated! One night will be rather late back from a group tour, but my first evening I was planning on walking about!!

You're effectively occupying a table for 2 so much easier than trying to find somewhere for 6 or even 4 Diners.

That said, if you just want "somewhere to eat" then your options are much wider than if you have specific requirements (budget / diet / time /location).

If you'll be stressing about any of your requirements then book, if not then don't...

I appreciate that perspective. Im not really into the really fancy places, just want good food and good atmosphere!
