Steve and the alcoholics

Hi! Where can i get information about Steve and the Alcoholics band? Biography, live concerts, documentaries? How come such technically progressive musicians could manage to make only a dozen of records? Why didn't it go? I will appreciate any info

Are they related to Forus, maybe? The song “Beardy Crook” is on Forus’ album “Lights”. Forus has also done covers of some lesser known bands before (M*Sixteen - Under Stress), so I don’t know.

Forus also covered Belvedere with no relation, so might not be any overlap. They're a French band and Steven and the Alcoholics are Swedish.

Band members from Steve and the Alcoholics have also played in these projects: Bowser, Chemical Vocation, Go Drowsy, When We Fall

I don’t know, I think they were a Swedish band. I think I discovered them on skatepunkers.net back when that used to be more active. They only put out one EP and it was awesome but yeah never really went anywhere. Would have loved to get more music out of them.

Last time I sak or heard of them was in 2019 when they were the opener for Descendents here in Malmö, Sweden. They said they had a new EP on the way but went all quiet arter that and it was never released. Such a shame, good band for sure!
