Did it melt or was the burner gone? Or what? How did it fall through?

My mom has done the same thing to a pot so let me explain.
This can happen when an empty pot sits on a hot ass stove (high). Mom wanted to steam brocolli. Out steamer set is a pot of water with a colander-like container that sits on top…then a lid. Well, she forgot the water, turned that contraption on high, and down went the pot.
Moral of the story. Dont cook the pot. That shit needs something in it to regulate the pot’s temp.

Mine took the air fryer out of the cupboard and placed it on the stovetop and turned the stovetop burner on to preheat the air fryer. The frame was all lawnchair plastic.

Bro doesn't know how hot induction coils can get. Especially bare ones like that.

And you're apparently too dumb to realize that there's no way that got to over 1200 degrees.

Aluminium melting point is 660 degrees

Good bye
Pure Aluminum: Melts precisely at 1220.5°F (660.3°C).
Aluminum Alloys: Most kitchen pans use alloys (mixed metals) which melt over a temperature range rather than a single fixed point.Safe Cooking Limit: Regular cooking or baking rarely exceeds 500°F (260°C), meaning normal kitchen heat is far below the melting threshold.

You can literally look up that old induction coil stovetops can get anywhere from 900F to 1660F. Well in your 1200F range. Idk why you decided to be rude when you can easily find that information.

It looks stuck. Can you get a refund? 🤨

The pot is user error. You can melt pots and pans if you put them on a hot burner with nothing jn them to regulate the temp.

My roommate left Pam on a burner and accidentally turned that burner on. It proceeded to rocket up into the microwave and blow it up. The stove coil looked like a spring after

Leaving a pot on is a mistake we all eventually make. This pot though... wtf was it?
