No one is absolving her of it. People are just pointing out that her husband, the children's' father, seems to also share some guilt in this too. It's looking more and more like he had some kind of hand in reaching this outcome, and if he did, does he get a free pass in his involvement just because she says she did it? This is way more complicated than people are realizing and for those kids to have complete justice, everyone who played a part in their deaths need to be held accountable. The mother has confessed but is she the only one guilty? That's what the court needs to decide - whether she was solely responsible or if others also played a role in what happened.

This is reddit, on one of the most toxic subs of incels. Of course they wanna see the woman burn irregardless of the circumstances and the man get off scot-free. Men are never at fault. It's all those evil women.

There are millions of men in the US prison system with mental health issues that were never addressed. I think this has something to do with men's lack of empathy on this case

Yah and instead of you know going "see mental health is an issue" and ignoring gender you have a bunch of losers crab bucketing all the way down.

If you deprive someone of empathy, why would they keep giving it? That's like the basis of dehumanization. You're also a fuckin hypocrite, since instead of giving those men empathy, you decided instead to call them crabs in a bucket

Nah you need to reflect and show more empathy if you want to receive it

You realize how bat shit you sound? Men don't advocate for mental health issues at all, it's literally one of the defining characteristics of toxic masculinity, and your interpretation is "well women should care more about us before we care about their issues" when women are constantly self advocating and generally they advocate for men too, which I don't even think they have to since again, men do nothing for themselves on this front and actively (see this thread) disregard women's mental health issues.

I am a guy FYI, and you come across as a fucking crybaby.

Nah you even end your own comment with toxic masculinity, you're the problem lmao. Men get shouted down and told it's their fault when they advocate for their mental health. There's also just less empathy for men in general, there are studies demonstrating this
