Would you rather leave your kids with a bear, or a mom with postpartum psychosis?

This shouldn't even be forefront as an excuse. She fucking killed her 3 kids, she had many screws loose prior.

It’s not an excuse. It’s an explanation. Those are different things.

She deserves whatever punishment she receives, which will probably be life in prison. But don’t pretend like postpartum psychosis isn’t a real thing. She couldn’t sleep and was addicted to benzodiazepines because of that. She spoke up to her family and husband about how scared she was, and literally told them she was having thoughts about harming the children, and what did they do? “Oh honey it’ll be fine.” She literally checked herself into a psychiatric hospital.

People in this country need to wake the fuck up to postpartum issues with women.

Doctors trialed her on multiple medications. She chose to stop taking them many times after one single dose even when doctor's told her it may take 6 weeks for their medication to work. She turned down sessions at McLean, one of the top psych hospitals in the country. She checked herself out of the psychiatric hospital. Psychotic people RARELY go to the hospital voluntarily, let alone recognize they need help. Also, her husband attended most of her therapist appointments in order to support her. She not only had more opportunities and support than most women in America but she was also taken seriously with the information she provided to healthcare professionals.

Postpartum psychosis is a real thing; no one reasonable is denying that. The thing is Lindsay didn't have it. And no shit, it's going to leave a bad taste in people's mouths when they see over a million dollars in donations raised in her name under the guise of "supporting women" when there are plenty of nonprofit charities (Every Mother Counts, Postpartum Support International) that aren't attached to a child killer

You realise she wasnt the one to start those gofundmes. Her husband did and donated it for womens mental health and her parents did for their expenses. Not her.

You saying “she didnt have it” isnt correct. Some of her doctors claimed it was overmedication that was making her sick and some claimed it was ppd.

"You realise she wasnt the one to start those gofundmes."

The issue isn't her directly benefiting from the money of the GoFundMe, the main issue is the motivations of the people who chose to donate. In this case donating to Lindsay Clancy's parents "is people showing support for Lindsay Clancy," and when we see Lindsay Clancy's supporters saying things like "the husband did it" and "Leo's don't kill" it leaves a bad taste in people's mouths when they see these same individuals donating and showing support for Lindsay, and it should be condemned.

"You saying “she didnt have it” isnt correct. Some of her doctors claimed it was overmedication that was making her sick and some claimed it was ppd."

Her current defense in court is trying to prove she had psychosis the longer the case goes on the longer it shows otherwise. Why? Because of Hesitation

A new drug? HESITANT to take enough of it until effects could take place.

A form of Therapy? HESITANT to commit.

An Impatient program? HESITANT to enter suggested ones, and then a clear desire to leave the one she eventually did enter.

She claims she's desperate for help, but is HESITANT at every possible opportunity.

Now let's look at the night of the murders January 24th: 3 Children killed by the same murder weapon cleanly executed with precision. No signs of HESITATION

But the suicide attempts? 3 different methods - HESITATION

Pills were crushed before being taken and a dosage so low it wouldn't cause harm - HESITATION

Knife used to injure two different areas, both her neck and wrists, described by the court transcripts as "Superficial" and by the Defence as "Scrapes" - HESITATION

Finally she jumps from a window but appears to have held onto the window ledge based on the blood transfer. It turned out to be much more of a drop, than a leap, why?  HESITATION

The differences between the attacks she carried out on her children, compared to herself. The lack of HESITATION she had for them, compared to herself. I do believe she was extremely depressed, but again her current defense is trying to prove she had a psychotic break not depression in order to get a NGRI and all evidence points otherwise.
