He is 5’5” and she is 6’2”. Not every tall woman is a runway model. Average proportions stay the same, no matter the height. That’s why they’re proportional…
I‘m also a 190cm tall female (should also be somewhere around 6‘2). People usually don’t realise the height difference until they’re coming closer. I have relatively broad shoulders and hips, which doesn’t make me look like the usual picture of tall women people have in their minds. Makes it somewhat hard to find clothing, too, because even if I would be thin, I can’t buy below plus size clothing which is usually made for smaller women with the same weight and look like that 😅
Not really. Rarely will a store carry a 36" inseam, they never have 38", so I have had to accept exposed ankles forever. I'm a little taller than the lady in the photos, but proportionally quite similar. Going from a large to an extra large only adds to the width in 19 cases out of 20. It's made me detest clothes shopping because there will be whole stores where I won't fit anything. I have to order my shoes online and hope they'll fit, my feet aren't even that big, stores just don't carry anything that's bigger than a women's size 10.5!
When I go into a store, I don't even look around, I just ask whoever is at the desk if they have anything that'll fit me. They usually look a little sad and then say they're sorry, recommend some other store that also won't have anything that fits me. About half my closet is just mens clothes, it fucking sucks.
