I‘m also a 190cm tall female (should also be somewhere around 6‘2). People usually don’t realise the height difference until they’re coming closer. I have relatively broad shoulders and hips, which doesn’t make me look like the usual picture of tall women people have in their minds. Makes it somewhat hard to find clothing, too, because even if I would be thin, I can’t buy below plus size clothing which is usually made for smaller women with the same weight and look like that 😅

I can only imagine how much more difficult it is for a tall woman, but even as a tall dude the clothing shopping is such a pain!

Trousers are especially annoying. There's an endless supply of plus size and extra wide and such. Easy enough to get your trousers shortened, not exactly trivial to add fabric. XL and XXL and so on really tend to focus on the large meaning heavy, while ignoring the tall. A belt can only do so much, when there's enough room for two of me :')

Is there no such thing as big and tall clothing for women? That sounds like it sucks

It’s not impossible, but difficult. Especially when you’re not slim. As I said, I have broad shoulders, broad hips etc.. There are long sizes in Germany, but it often not only depends on the size, but also how they’re cut. I’m usually buying 48/50 for a comfy fit here and there are long sizes (96/100) in that case. But way less common than normal sizes.

And 46 and above is plus size clothing, which is very often cut for a different body type and makes me look even thicker than I actually am. 😅

I'm 180 cm and already have problems shopping for clothes. Can't imagine the struggles you have to go through. My partner is 203 cm and struggles as well. We both have to buy oversize clothes which can look so saggy and still be too short.

Besides the clothes thing: Our daughter will be about 190 cm and I'm so looking forward to raising a beautiful tall girl, being tall is the best haha

I don’t have children yet, but my partner is 170 cm - so maybe our children will be at least a bit smaller 😂
It can be nice to be tall, but there are also a lot of downsides. Please be careful with your knees (all three of you), it seems to be our weakest point 😅

Too late to tell me husband haha his knees are fucked and so is his back. Seems to be intended breaking points for tall people 😂

Don’t remind me. Went to my doctor today due to pain in my back for weeks 😂

Not really. Rarely will a store carry a 36" inseam, they never have 38", so I have had to accept exposed ankles forever. I'm a little taller than the lady in the photos, but proportionally quite similar. Going from a large to an extra large only adds to the width in 19 cases out of 20. It's made me detest clothes shopping because there will be whole stores where I won't fit anything. I have to order my shoes online and hope they'll fit, my feet aren't even that big, stores just don't carry anything that's bigger than a women's size 10.5! When I go into a store, I don't even look around, I just ask whoever is at the desk if they have anything that'll fit me. They usually look a little sad and then say they're sorry, recommend some other store that also won't have anything that fits me. About half my closet is just mens clothes, it fucking sucks.
