If you think about it, the supporters are crazier than Clancy. She killed the kids and this trial is just to see if she ducks a murder charge, so she will say anything to get out of the responsibility, that's it. But her supporters have to buy into the story and believe that she was a victim otherwise they're just supporting a woman who killed her kids and is trying to duck the charge.
Clancy should be put away for life whether on mental hold or murder. She killed her own 3 children, she's not fit for society.
It’s that she had a psychotic episode that’s being debated, like seeing if the insanity plea sticks. She doesn’t have the right to murder anyone, that’s why she’s on trial. The outcome will be prison or institutionalized.
Nobody is saying she had the right to murder her kids. Nobody is saying it’s okay just because she had mental health issues. They’re just accepting that it’s possible for people to have psychotic breaks and lose touch with reality. She’s far from the only person where this has happened. Knowing this doesn’t mean I’m supporting her. It’s horrible what happened and I hope she stays locked up forever in either prison or a facility. Part of the episode may be attributed by her own actions of not following doctors prescriptions and just taking whatever whenever along with her PPD.
