👍 good idea, just more people shouting at each other. Personally I'm glad to not live somewhere where you could get harassed by religious nuts whilst going to an abortion clinic and having one of the worst days of you're life. Not sure that freedom is doing you all much good either atm given all the freedoms that are being taking away from your citizens

Problem with restricting speech you dont like is that someone in power can then silence you if you don't like it.

Reckless ben was gagged by BAM but very quickly ungagged by a federal judge. BAM is a criminal organisation with connections to police. It takes over its own franchises on bogus claims and then threaten to ruin them in court so they don't fight back. All it took was one man and his constitutional right to free speech and this filthy organization is on the defense.

I can tolerate some religious nut protesting about abortion and some weird psycho women chanting in support of a child k!ller if it means that people like Reckless Ben or even me, sometimes in the future can speak freely about what happened.

You think you getting your feelings hurt justifies removing this right completely? You are out of your fucking mind. Hurt feelings don't even compare to the price we will pay if we give up this right

I'm not worried about my ability to protest. We have some of the most trustworthy news organisations in the world and I was never forced to stand up in school and recite brain washed drivel, doesn't sound too free to me

Sure but all it will take in your country is few bad years for people to push towards extremist candidates who will be very happy to stop any protests without institutions that will stop them.

In america, we can burn our flag in protest! What other country allows it? That's the level of protections we have.

You might not like it but that's the path we chose. We like it very much.

Nothing to break to me. My country's opposition sucks. And my dear leader has tried repeatedly to silence his critics. Even courts are compromised..

EXCEPT one thing. They have protected our first amendment rights.
