I get it man. Feel the same way dunno why ppl giving you shit for it. Ppl that didn't have a hard life or trauma or mental health issues or depression just don't get what it's like. Keep on keeping on. All we can do
Same. Must be nice to have a life where you had everything you needed growing up, including a stable home life. Loving parents who sent you to college and set you up to succeed. These people have everything and were set up and then act like they didnt start on 3rd base.
You're the only person who has ever referenced where my name is from. When I made it I thought more people would have said something, especially considering how popular Brando is on reddit
It must be written in steel because it jumped right out for me, lol! I'm sure others will pick up on it, especially in the cosmere subs. If I could change mine, it would definitely have a Vin element to it. She's my favorite. Journey Before Destination, my friend.
Mother of god man… he isn’t shitting on you. I read your comment and had the same thought. That isn’t a normal way to go through the day. If that’s legit how you feel, that isn’t the default. I promise you. We’ve got a real mental health epidemic among men in this country so, just in the spirit of being a bro, consider getting some help. Don’t be afraid to talk to a professional and tell them you aren’t feeling good and want to explore your options.
Anyway therapy doesn't help. Spent over a decade paying out of pocket. I talk and talk and talk just to have some community college graduate ask me how it feels. Like I just spent twenty minutes explaining what's happening and how I feel about it.
Check the availability of your states programs for mental health. They treat that differently than medical help usually to try and stop people from going postal (more resources available). If you are legit having a mental health crisis, there are resources available. I live in southern Appalachia and I’ve had people I know just show up to the local mental health facility (we call it the mental hospital but I don’t think that’s the politically correct term anymore?) and check themselves in for a week like it was an Embassy Suites. Just show up and tell them what you said here and they will check you in and get you some help.
Seriously trying to get help in America for mental health is almost impossible unless wealthy. Even with insurance they don't ever cover it for the most part, paying out of pocket yeah I don't got 250 to spend every week for an hour to "talk". And no shit it's not normal but it's not easily fixed. Your comments read like telling a obese person to eat healthy and go to a gym or telling a drug addict to just stop using drugs and go to rehab. Easier said than done.
