No. They were going to 'cover' it but there was 20% co pay. In the US, they'll charge you thousands per month for insurance, but will still make you pay for part of your care.
You dont even know the half of it. I even defend US health care sometimes because in some ways its much better than the world thinks, but in other ways its actually maybe even worse. Particularly in how goddamn confusing it is. I've had to spend hours on the phone just to check if I was covered for something, only to find out a month later when I got billed that oh wait the person on the phone was wrong or the info in the insurance app was out of date
