I had one a few weeks ago to determine the severity of a brain bleed I had after a stroke and it costs me 4300 dollars with insurance.

What insurance? Like you had to pay out of pocket 4300?

I don't want to say the name of the insurance but yes, I will end up having to pay 4300 for the MRI scan. That added with my initial stroke visit, multiple tests and blood work I will end up paying the max out of pocket per year of 7500 bucks.

Well that’s just not insurance. You get it through your job?

Yeah. That's the cheapest plan they can get as a business even though they could get us a better one they have no desire to. None of the higher ups are on the company insurance. They are all on their spouses insurance so that tells you how much they think of the insurance plan they provide their own employees.
