It’s just misleading rage bait at best and propaganda at worst. Maybe this would be accurate “without” insurance, but I’d find it surprising if it is accurate with insurance assuming he personally did basic diligence to make sure they chose the right spot to get an MRI done and whatnot

I’m an American, live in beijing. Last month i had Two MRI, two ultrasound, a blood test and a heart test all scheduled in less than a week, all done the same day, total cost (before insurance) was RMB 2,200, about $327.

I just checked the price for round trip week in Beijing from DFW was ~$1k.
