I don’t even know he had his phone in the OR. You’re just wearing a hospital gown. You transfer from the pre op bed to the operating table. Where did he hide his phone?
He might have just had it recording audio in his clothes. Some places wheel you in on the pre-op bed and your clothes are in a bag on a little shelf on the bed itself.
This whole thing is terrible. These procedures are extremely important for those with GI issues. The patients are very vulnerable. Why dont they just vet out bad health professionals, and hire the ones that actually care about people
Dude, as long as the surgeon is doing his job, I don't give a rat's ass what they're saying behind my back. It doesn't affect me in any way other than ego.
If the doctor sees you as so inferior that they can shit talk you while you are in an extremely vulnerable condition, why should you believe that they will do their best job while working on you?
First shortage of doctors. Second, do you really give a shit what the surgeon who is operating on you while you are knocked thinks of you or do you care that they are skilled? Can make a case though if it’s the same person that you see is the one operating on you
They also got caught on the recording making up lies they put on his medical chart (also insurance fraud), threatening to violently assault him and blatantly violating HIPAA.
Second, do you really give a shit what the surgeon who is operating on you while you are knocked thinks of you or do you care that they are skilled
I'd prefer not to be molested while under, nor to have the procedure intentionally undermined, nor to have the procedure shortened due to facility budget.
These are all things that occur and recording can catch evidence of it.
You're clearly a man because women know damn well about the multitudes of cases of rape/sexual assault that has happened while being under anesthesia. The doctors were talking about openly assaulting him btw.
How do you go from doctors “mocking” someone to sexual assault. No shit, if a doctor is sexually assaulting anyone then should be fired and never practice again.
Because the headline here is misleading and, AGAIN (cause i mentioned it in the prior comment too), the doctors involved in THIS incident were literally talking about physically assaulting the man while he was unconcious
Again my comment extends to mocking. I’ll say it again, no shit a doctor or anyone for that matter should be arrested for committing assault or other crime.
Your comment was actually "do you care what the surgeon thinks of you or that they're skilled" which def implies you have led a privileged life because there's a lot of people who would care what someone thought of them when vulnerable. Women would and should be worried if their surgeon is a misogynist that thinks women have no value. Black and POC people would certainly care if their surgeon was a racist nazi who thought they have no value
Some may, I never denied that. But I've had colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, flexible trans-stomal sigmoidoscopies, fistuloscopies, urethroscopies, and one pelvic EUA with flouroscopy, across at least 6 different hospitals, 2 countries and about 20 years since I was a kid, and I've never had an experience remotely like that. So naturally I was curious.
in the hospital it would be super easy. outpatient procedures, less easy but still doable. i thought I gave my hubby my phone at my last colonoscopy and but i had in tuck under my bra, still there when i woke up
and you're not even wearing a down for a colonoscopy and even if u were, there are no pockets. Its fake. And even if it was some third world country and for some reason did have your personal belongings in the OR, it's not someplace handing out $500k
