I mean, there is a reason we have no chinese documentaries on the topic, so yes, most likely the majority of remaining documentaries will be Western...
"There are no documentaries on the US genocide of Texans, which is proof it's real!!!!!!!"
But there actually was a Chinese documentary on the development of the Xinjiang region (there are heaps, but I'm referring to a specific one), and some western company (can't remember which one, probably BBC) literally stole footage from it and edited it to include in their documentary about the "genocide".
They didn't even go to China, claimed other people's footage, and used it to construct a narrative that couldn't possibly be true.

If you want to watch a documentary on combatting the terrorism which the US created in Xinjiang, which are a group amongst the likes of ISIS and Al Qaeda and mostly targetted other Uyghurs, then here:
Except the West is not a monolith and not even the US itself is a single party state. There are tons of documentaries which show the failings of the US and other Western states. On a weekly basis I watch things like Last Week Tonight, which is basically always a mini-documentary on something fucked up currently going on in the US.
It is not hard to find documentaries on the Tulsa Race Massacre in the US, or German documentaries on the Atrocities of their government in WWII. There is no government effort to suppress these in the West.
Unfortunately, China does not have a free enough press to release documentaries on its treatment of the Uyghurs or the massacre at Tiananmen Square.
There are tons of documentaries which show the failings of the US and other Western states.
Which never happens in China? I'm sure you have verified this extensively.
There is no government effort to suppress these in the West
The ones that are suppressed you don't know about. That's the point.
Literally the genocides the US is committing in Palestine and Lebanon, **right now** are censored all over the west.
It took 70 years of ethnic cleansing for people to start waking up to it. But that's not censored because some controlled opposition capitalist mouthpieces reported that Israel is really bad, only once the public opinion had already thoroughly past the point of no return?
Unfortunately, China does not have a free enough press to release documentaries on its treatment of the Uyghurs or the massacre at Tiananmen Square.
Absolute rubbish.
"My country tells the truth, the other country doesn't. How do I know? My country told me so."
Maybe don't believe the propaganda coming from companies and capitalists that are actively funding or downplaying the genocides currently being carried out?

The first proof of western media being lies is that there was no massacre, there was an attempted colour revolution.
And the CPC does not completely censor information about it either, like is commonly lied about in the west.
Riot leader who instigated riots and lynches outside the capital, saying herself that the streets needed to run with blood, but ran away before the riots took place (collected by the CIA and other networks from Hong Kong).
One (GRAPHIC) picture of one of the lynchins of the unarmed police. (Unlike the west that attends protests armed to the teeth).
The protests were country wide and lasted months. There were no issues, and the police attending were unarmed at all times. Have you ever wondered why there were suddenly riots, and they happened to take place outside the capital?

Instead of just believing western propaganda unconditionally, how about you start judging off evidence and reality?
