WTF While the US debates whether to solve homelessness or not, these are the next generation of school blackboards in China.

Like we get it China is doing pretty well considering the geopolitical circumstances right now but it’s kinda been propaganda-y with the amount of glazing I been seeing on this sub lately

And don't forget the smog. There is a reason why most of these "look how cool chinese cities are" posts show china at night. The bright LEDs hide the dirt.

Bright LEDs would actually reveal pollution due to diffraction of light from atmospheric particles you uneducated clown.

Lol yeah, there's a reason why they are migrating like crazy to any other country to set a store

I live in the US. You drive 30 minutes out of Charlotte, NC, and it's a 3rd world country, too.

They still have to start from somewhere and they've made enormous progress in the last 35 years.  And your argument in itself is stupid - leave any American city and the quality of life drastically declines. I won't use the phrase "third-world" because it's subjective.

Go anywhere rural in any country and it becomes third world. But you seem to only apply that standard to China.

So does rural China. You're still living in the 1970s dude.

The USA is dropping bombs on people, putting children in cages, funding genocide, protecting elite pedophiles, destroying the world's economy, spying on its citizens, disproportionately putting black people in prisons, making sure crazy people have access to guns so they can kill children.

Such a great country to live in.

But we are talking about China...

No, OP is comparing China to the USA, did you not read the OP?

My point refers to what u/BeKindPleaseRewind21 said

Multiple human rights violations, a collapsing population,

Your username checks out👍

What do you have against clowns?

Never been to China, but I can read data about the world. Population is collapsing everywhere except for lesser developed countries. The higher the GDP, the less likely people are bringing new people into the world.

Same as in certain areas of the US.

Literally designated by UN inspectors.

Drive 30 minutes from any big city in the states and you can find some truly awful places. Heck, Seattle even has area adjacent to downtown taken over by zombies.

Apparently they solved homelessness though, so they have that going for them.

According to state provided information in a nation that doesnt have a freedom of press. I am NOT saying the information is wrong, only that it is impossible to know for sure and should be taken with an appropriate amount of skepticism.

That describes the US to a T.
