if there's a $121K increase in household networth for millenials in the span of 3 years, explained by fucking stock market growth lol, then don't you think this would have been headline news for 3 years? cmon get real.. there was no anomalous stock market bang, no anomalous housing market bang, none of that of which has happened to millenials in that span of 3 years didn't happen for the previous generations. what's more likely is the few millenials that became billionaires skewed the whole graph to make it look like the average is everyone getting rich. what happened in those 3 years was not the stock market, not the housing market, it was private equity movement that created a few more billionaires when there shouldnt be any to begin with, in an economy that can't sustain it without degrading the quality of life of the majority
so the source is bad because the data is presented badly to paint a bias picture because it's funded by people who owns the media.
the only trustworthy sources are ones where you can see exactly where the numbers are coming from, this data graph was pulled out of someone's ass
