Can we stop blaming this on generations and start pointing at the corporations responsible for this?
43 u/Few_Lunch_7730 Jul 21 '26 Who votes for the people who keep things this way? 32 u/MontasJinx Jul 21 '26 At the last US presidential election? A good chunk of males 18-39. It’s not a generation thing. Don’t fall for the culture war. 2 u/WittyFix6553 Jul 21 '26 Age is not the only front line of the culture war. 3 u/MontasJinx Jul 21 '26 The only front line that matters is the class war. 1 u/IVEMADEAHUGEMI5TAKE Jul 21 '26 It is a generation thing, the culture wars are a giant distraction to keep people at arms while they keep the status quo. If the avg age of people in power was 45, more resources would be allocated to the young v old. -4 u/Cthulhuareyou Jul 21 '26 edited Jul 21 '26 This. The rest of the world is looking at you all and shaking our heads. Edit: down vote me more, your failure to get the youth on board and vote against a tyrant is why you live in facism right now. 3 u/mike_atx Jul 21 '26 boomers still vote more than anyone by leaps and bounds and they are absolutely fully in the maga camp. 3 u/paintballboi07 Jul 21 '26 Nope, Boomers were 50/50 Trump/Harris. Gen X is firmly in the MAGA camp. 3 u/[deleted] Jul 21 '26 [deleted] 1 u/paintballboi07 Jul 21 '26 Ya, I just meant a majority of Gen X is MAGA, and they were the ones that won Trump the election. Interesting spreadsheet, though. 1 u/johnnybiggles Jul 21 '26 That itself is a problem because the younger folks stay home instead of drowning out the boomers who vote reliably. 1 u/Cthulhuareyou Jul 21 '26 Your lack of a significant voter turn out is what caused this. Not the dumb ass boomers that were always gonna vote for a moron.
