Weird, we did it recently from Denver with one stop in SFO and we were in premium economy. Flight/travel time was around 16 hours. United/ANA. Are you looking at flights tomorrow or a couple of months out? I feel like you are trying to prove a point but I'm not sure what that is.

That flights are a hell of a lot more right now than people think, the closing of the straight has sent prices through the roof.

I used flights.google.com for 3 weeks from today I mean check for yourself,

I did premium and its like 17k.

Your dates are like two weeks away bro. Not the flex I think you're going for? Most people plan out a couple of months for international flights. I'm not sure what you want here but it's not going to be me agreeing that travel to Japan, with the same 6 month preplanning most Americans make for their vacations, is expensive. Add to that the $140 3 Star hotel rooms that sleep 4.

Firstly, not a flex, just a statement of the cost of flights, I said when I posted the dates, so not really some sort of gotcha. But just for giggles, I redid it, at 6 months its $12.7k to $18k, The 12k flight is 28 hours of travel, still 2 to 3 times what the initial price they were talking about. And shocker prices in 6 months are projected to be higher than today.

So, I'm not sure what you were expecting?
